Dear Katya,

But Christ told us to love our enemnies not that we didnt have any!And believe me its only when we are really faced with one that we can understand what a podvig that commandment is....

Theophan....you missed the whole point in the piece, but then that is not surprising when considering yourself so far above us all.

You may rest easy...even though you consider me a daughter of the devil....i still say a small and humble pray for you to see the light.

That poem gives one a lot to think about, but I beg to differ with the idea that the devil is not our enemy. The church often refers to him as such. And certainly people can make us their enemies, even if we don't think of them as our enemies...

I think the idea here is not in the "us" but in the "I". It is what I do that counts and not what "we" do.

Dear Katya,

Where did that come from? Where did I say or imply that "I am so far above you all"?

I think also you missed my point- that it is easy enough to have love for "abstract" liberbals but much harder to actually love your enemnies who may even be your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Where did I describe you as a daughter of the devil?

I ask your forgiveness your the hurt and offense that I have caused you.
Thank you for your prayer- prayer is something I am always in need of.

Theophan.
