Dear Theophan:

Bog blagoslovite!

I don't know about the heresies of Orlov, I only know about those ones of Pivovarov, with the one that he is in communion, these heresies only not are things anti Jewish but nonsenses as "other worlds" and other similar things (even "Imyaslavie").

About Pivovarov here are some documents about him and his ideas (In Russian)

I also think that this group is not serious and they don't have conscience about what are the sacred things and the Church (I think that they are not different to any vagante gruop). I just am looking for that picture on paradosis (and I cannot find them, they also were on Portal Credo) where they are ordered their bishops in that unworthy place.

They also have ordained another bishop for their synod it seems:

VERTOGRAD Orthodox Journal
Newsletter No. 57, Friday, November 25, 2006. 1:00 P.M.

ANOTHER BISHOP IS ORDAINED IN THE RusOC UNDER MET ANTHONY (ORLOV)
(Portal-Credo.Ru – Vertograd, Moscow)

Archimandrite of ROCOR(L) Ioann (Zinoviev) was received to RusOC under Met Anthony (Orlov) and consecrated bishop of Zaporozhe and Malorossia on November 24, 2006 in Sherbinka (Moscow region). Bishop Ioann has become the sixth bishop of RusOC, four of them have been ordained within the recent four months.

The consecration took place in accordance with a decision of the Synod of RusOC, which met shortly before it. All the bishops were present except for Victor Pivovarov, who delegated his voice to Met Anthony (Orlov). The Synod also established a new diocese of Malorossia, which includes Ukraine and Moldova (this area belonged to the diocese of Bishop Victor before).

The service started at 6 A.M. and not more than 10 people were present at the consecration (RusOC does not have too many people or parishes). After the service and consecration there was a dinner, that Met Anthony did not participate. He was leaving Russia, where he spent more than a month.

A newly ordained Bishop Ioann has already been a bishop before. He had been a bishop of Kiev Partiarchate, that was not recognized when he was received to ROCOR in 2003. He was received to ROCOR as an Archimandrite, that was his latest rank in Moscow Partiarchate where he had been before. The decision of his new hierarchical consecration in RocOC formally contradicts the previos decision of that Church (dated by Nov 3) to re-baptise and re-ordain any clergy that got their ranks in Moscow Partiarchate.

He was second in rank (and a main spokesman) in Ukraine, after Bishop Agafangel, a hard blow to "Agafangelites". This fact is really quite surprising and shocking, because suddenly and from one day for another one, he left ROCOR-L to be made a "Bishop" in the Orlov-Pivovarov Cult and with him, 4 or 5 priests left Bishop Agafangel, which is not an small number small for small eparchy

Many months? But if Archimandrite Ioann (Zinovyev) He was an active member of Eparchy of B. Agafangel and main spokesman of him, he was the first one that told on his website that they in Ucrania had stopped of commemorating Met Lavr (it was very few days ago). On other hand, the Eparchy of Odessa doesn't recognize the group of Orlov and Pivovarov (just it was told to Portal Credo by Orlov Group and denied by the Epachy of Crimea), neither that they have had any conversation. It can to be see on the Website of this Eparchy.

so what if He was still in the Rocor, he was still sadened and talking to others about moving...Father this isnt a light matter But its clearly known that he has moved a couple of times from one jurisdiction to another-many people dont Recognize Vladyka Antony, I cant say why, and really could care less...what i can say is my response isnt from internet its what ive seen or Heard from a real person not a ficticious website, as one should never trust an un-official site, most of them have been set up by the adversaries to cause unrest in the Faithful...

This is from the Orthodox-Traditon or Paradosis List:

This morning I received an e-mail from the Central Russian eparchy of the "Russian [Rossijskaya] Orthodox Church" (http://www.ispovednik.org) confirming the announcement in "Vertograd" that, in a Council of all his bishops, Archbishop Anthony (Orlov) has been raised to the rank of metropolitan with the title "of Moscow and All Russia, Los Angeles and All Abroad". Facsimiles of the signatures of all the bishops were attached. I think we can therefore safely say that Archbishop Anthony is, in the opinion of himself and his bishops, Bishop of the Whole World!

If this is not so, then I challenge him to make an announcement on the English- and Russian-speaking internet that all this, including his signature, is a forgery.
