But, alas, back to the grind. And look! Here's one grinding away!

Fr.George Lardas wrote that all those who state that the MP has no grace have departed into schism.
MAL: Ding, ding! I caught your first mistake! He never wrote "all," he very specifically talks about "some."
Look:
"Now that the storm is past, some have embraced a position our Church has never before held that the Moscow Patriarchate is without grace and its Mysteries are invalid. These people have lost the Catholicity of theChurch and have themselves departed into schism. To embrace that position is to go against the conciliar conscience of the Russian Church Abroad, it is to go against the Patristic experience and pastoral practice of the Church,it is to go against the love that we have for our brethren, who hold the same Faith that we do, and have the same hope of Salvation in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Okay, on to your next miscasting of statements:
PA:Saying this he includes Holy Metr.Philaret
MAL: Nyet City. Metropolitan Philaret was the one who told me that he "would never dare say that another Orthodox Church lacks grace."
PA: who stated: Excerpts from St.Metr.Philaret's letter to Fr.Victor Potapov:
MAL: Whether Met. Philaret wrote the letter or someone else wrote it under his name, the excerpt you quoted, such was not the position of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. If it was Vladyka's privately held belief, he held it very, very privately during his life, because the documents he signed by the Synod and Sobor and the things he told individuals stated otherwise.
PA: New ROCOR no longer considers Holy Metr.Philaret one of theirs?
MAL: We consider him very much ours. We just don't consider him yours, for even though you call him a saint, you repudiate him and his love for Russia by your words.

I will leave your quotation from my husband intact, even if it's more than a year old, because I just love reading his words. I fell in love with him when his "ten minute doklad" on Orthodoxy and science ran a full forty-five minutes and he stopped only because it was time for lunch. He answered all the questions that I had in my heart of hearts. He gave the talk at Jordanville. He explains things well. He captured my heart more than 25 years ago because he spoke with great clarity about the things that he loves, the Church and Science, and how the more you know about science, the more you have to believe in God, because it's so intricate and complex and beautiful that nothing else makes sense. Here, you quote him when he writes about those who don't love, and how little they have to say to us, as a result. Unfortunately, they still say their little, over and over and over, dredging up dead men's letters to prop up an equally lifeless theory. May God have mercy and enlighten them. There is still time, even if it is very late, so much later than we think.

On Talks with the Moscow Patriarchate:
"Now that the storm is past, some have embraced a position our Church has never before held that the Moscow Patriarchate is without grace and its Mysteries are invalid. These people have lost the Catholicity of the Church and have themselves departed into schism. Having taken that step they have nothing further to say to the Russian people and have become sectarians, just as the Old Believers became sectarians. They no longer have any witness to the Orthodox world."
