Katya,

This is a very serious error. Ecumenism is very widespread and a serious heresy. You are right though, it is not a failing of the Church, it is a human failing. And the Church DEMANDS absolutley that we depart from bishops practicing and teaching this heresy, in addition to any bishop in communion with one. As the Church teaches through the Holy Fathers, hertics bishops have no grace and are enemies of the Church.

This is the whole point of everything no matter how many nitty-gritty issues you may read about.

cant get a wrod out of anyone in Rocie, as if this was some kind of a competition, if something is happening with this jurisdiction it is only fair you share with others that have thought about joing Rocie?
its only fair you caution God`s children, right?

It's a list of people who want to be known to be sharing the same 'position' as "Bishops Vladimir and Varfolomey and the Secretary of the Synod, Mitred Archpriest Veniamin Zhukov".

You too can use this Prompt translator.

Oh my!
And shall I begin to spread around every story that I hear about others?

I have never heard of any re-baptisms of anyone who has come to ROCE. The Orthodox Church holds its clergy to a very fine line: we are to be deposed if we refuse to baptize someone who is in need of baptism and also if we baptize someone who has already been baptized. There is only one baptism into the Orthodox Church.

Here's an update...apparently ROCiE clergy, in Montreal, at least, have decided that Orthodox people who come to their church should be re-baptized. I got this from an inside source.

If they were baptized it is because they were not Orthodox. Please explain what "Orthodox people" this story refers to?

. . . and that one priest has left due to this decision.

Did you talk to this priest yourself?
