If I am reading it correctly, some of the bishops of the ROCiE are upset that Abp Antony was given a Canadian Diocese at the decision of Met Vitaly and not of the whole synod.

Checking to see if the official Rocie scandal sheet might have been
translated into English (it hasn't), I noticed someone has been busy
over Pentecost sanitizing the site just a bit.

Gone is the title "About the attempt to grab power in the Rocor(V)
synod," replaced by "Latest synodal events."

Gone too are some of the more salacious tales and characterizations
of "the soviet woman," the charge of heresy against Bp. Victor, the
demand for repentance by Abp. Anthony for his continued legal married
state and for the regularization of that non-canonical status.

Remaining are the more serious charges of conspiracy to attempt
usurpation of the powers of the synod by Abp. Anthony and Bp. Victor,
with the assistance of "the soviet woman."

The revised posting new ends with an appeal by Bps. Vladimir and
Varfolomey, and Secretary Fr. Benjamin Zhukov to the above-named
hierarchs to immediately repent of this serious church crime
(seryoznoye tserkovnoye prestupleniye) else they voluntarily place
themselves in a non-canonical situation.

document.

If I may ask another question on this, does this look like an impending ROCiE schism? I can't believe Fr. Benjamin Zoukoff is siding with Bps. Vladimir and Bartholomew.

maybe one of the Priests of Roice(a moderator here) would care to comment, and maybe the rumours about Roac and some Rocie are just rumors, But maybe some Rocie will go with Metropolitan Valentine

Rumor has it we should be seeing ANOTHER true Orthodox Church.

Is anyone else laughing :mrgreen: at this quote. how many "true" Orthodox Churches can there be? Perhaps this one can call itself the "Really true Orthodox Church" or maybe "The Truest of the True orthodox Church."

Really, someone needs to get a life. (Not you Ekaterina.) Sty. John of Kronstadt was right, schism begets schism.
