Requesting Thoughts on A New Project

The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

Requesting Thoughts on A New Project

Post by Грешник »

Greetings in Christ,

In light of the fact that there are a lot of new people coming to this site I have a thought. The other sections of this site seem to be growing in size. I am wondering if there is a concensus of thought as to wether the RESOURCES SECTION of this site has become stagnant and is in need of an update/overhaul. A lot of the information in English was donated by myself in my desire for a more educational side to the site. Shall we add more? If so, what sorts of things (i.e. The writings and pronouncements of the 7 Councils, Lives and histories of the Apostles, etc.) could/should be added to the site as edifying and educational necessity? I look forward to the thoughts/suggestions of others as I personally and very strongly think there is a need for this and would be more than willling to undertake this task so as to round out this site in some way.

In Christ,
Juvenaly

How about the prayers of the hours?

Also, how about a text searchable - hyperlinked Orthodox Holy Bible?

Also St. John Chrysostom's Homilies on the Gospel of St. Matthew?
St. Athanasius On the Incarnation?

Most English Church Fathers translations are centrally located on a Roman website. They should cleansed of the RCC commentary and perhaps put here? Would take awhile.

Bless!

Would members be interested in a Church School/Catechetical Forum and Resource Page?
