Their marriage was dissolved, he did the right thing and became a monastic. So she did not feel compelled to be come a monastic herself, I'm sure she was not the first or the last. She still mananged to have a good second marriage, raised her children as best as she could and was not an ax murderer.
Who are WE to JUDGE THEM for what happened over 50 years ago? It's done, it's finished. MOVE ON! After all this time I'm sure that WE are the only ones stupid enough to keep harping on this tired old subject. I'm pretty sure that GOD has more important things to worry over than this stupidity.
