I am writing to inform anyone who is interested that a new section has been added to the official website of the ROAC Church in America at http://www.ROACusa.org/documents.html and http://www.ROAC.info/documents.html.
This section, entitled, "Historic Documents of the ROCOR" is a chronicle of the " Newsletter of the Department of Foreign Relations", written by ROCOR 's late Bishop Gregory Grabbe who at the time was the Secretary of the Synod. Coupled with this is the continuation of this great work, "Church News" by Matushka Anastasia Shatilovna (Grabbe) who typed the previous Newsletter for the beloved Vladyka Gregory. These two works span the past 3 decades of the ROCOR and the Catacomb Churches so one can see clearly the history that has led to the present union of the ROCOR with the MP and that this was not a "spur of the moment" type of thing, but had been "in the works" by unsavory, ecumenical, Soviet elements for quite some time. Likewise one can see that the historical course of the ROCOR was against such a union and instead hoped to be a united front for defending true Orthodoxy while in communion with the Greek Old Calendarists and the Catacomb Churches of Russia. These works also uncovered come extreme acts of Ecumenism in all of the churches of so-called "World Orthodoxy".
Be aware, that at the present time the documents, while available in both English and Russian languages, are all in .PDF (Adobe Reader) format and the latest version (7.x.x ) of the Adobe Reader application and would need to be downloaded and installed from this web site: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html if you do not already have it installed in order to view the files.
