Well in Bp Gabriel's statement he said that they were not in communion with the JP, but just had a special agreement that if ROCOR laity wanted to, they could commune at the Holy Sepulchre, but not anywhere else in JP churches.

But what about in the early days of ROCOR (when everyone calling themselves ROCOR was Orthodox, not just Metr. Vitaly's Synod like we have today), how does ROCOR justify being in communion with the JP who communed NC's?

It was not the calendar that was the big issue with the Russians, there was Sergianism in Russia, but after that when the EP wrote the letter to the Church of Christ wherever it may be and the lifting of the anathemas that communion was broken with "World Orthodoxy" over the pan-heresy of Ecumenism that was then being publicly taught.

CHRIST IS RISEN!

Who are you to substantiate where the Grace is?? What kind of comment is that? Are you saying that the Holy Communions I have taken have no Grace??

And how do you "start" to lose Grace? You either have it or you don't. The heretics, like the catholics, protestants and the non-Christians don't have it.

You're stepping over the line of blasphemy. You don't have the authority to make that kind of remark. It's flippant and an obvious indication of spiritual ignorance.

I suppose you think that you're the only "true" Orthodox Christian left and the rest of us are condemned.

When we start to question where Grace is and is not based off of our own beliefs and not those of the Church as a whole throughout history we run a very thin line.

We have all see what happens when men become proud and take authority to themselves. We need to Fast, Pray, and ask for forgiveness for our own sins...

Of course, you are right. I just don't like these comments about the absence of grace...especially when it's aimed at ROCOR. I know too many old calendarists who are so fanatical about pointing where grace is or mostly isn't. There are even Greeks who say you can't be a "real" Orthodox if you aren't born Greek! What a laugh and a half that is.
