... It was the Protestant and Orthodox bubbles that I can really comprehend fully, because hindsight is 20/20 (or close to it).

You cannot comprehend anything fully while in a bubble of your own making, nor can you see 20/20 in a bubble because it covers hindsite as well. Be honest - very brutally honest and you will find Jesus Christ and His body the Orthodox Church.

As a scientific type, I know Jesus Christ is Lord because the Gospels record the first textbook case of Visual Agnosia 2000 years before modern "science" is able to somewhat reproduce less than half of Jesus healing miracle at Bethsaida. Just as that person didn't have his brain wired properly - but saw men as trees walking, so too one who lives in a bubble thinks all others are equally blind is not seeing clearly either.

I know Jesus Christ is Lord because 700 years before Christ, David accurately foretold the crucifixon right down to where the Roman mercenaries came from (Bashan).

I know the Holy Scriptures are true because they are incredibly consistent when one is brutally honest with oneself, and seeing oneself as the chief of sinners and clearly on the bad side of things - resisting the temptation to place oneself as god or good or anything other than a wretched sinner inside the Scriptures but rather being in the 'lowest place in the house.'

I know the words of Jesus are true because violating them all the time in new and novel ways, I see the repercussions of my stupid deeds and even hiddden thoughts and note the value of even my meager repentance.

I know the Orthodox Faith is the True Faith because Orthodoxy is consistent with all the Holy Scripture to minute detail.

I know the Orthodox Church is the true hospital, because I have never observed any more sick yet wonderful people in my life as in Church! God love them, I know I do albeit reluctantly at times and not nearly as much as I should.

The only reason I can be so bold with you is because, being a hypocrite, a bubble dweller, a doubting Thomas etc.... I've been there done that and suffered for it and wouldn't wish any sin even on my worst enemy (the worst three being me, myself and I and all the "human" passions that go with such isolation from Heaven - heaven being Others).

There is only one command in the satanic bible which was written by a guy who looked like (namely Alister Crowley) - 'do what thou wilt.' That bubble of selfishness is destructive, and can be found inside the church in the attitude of religious self-righteousness or outside the church in the attitude of atheist self-righteousness.

We must seek self-unrighteousness and then when we see how sick and awful we really are inside and outside, then we might attain to some tears of repentance so that we might connect with others and end bubble isolationism.

Care about and give to others, and let the bubbles be burst. Care about God because He taught you how to deal with bubbles and everything else.
