MP priest,on orders of his bishop, destroys RTOC church!

20 April, 2006. Great Thursday. A group of Cossacks, supporters of the MP headed by the priest of the MP from the church of the Smolensk icon of the Mother of God, Vladimir Gusev, attacked the church of the Holy Royal Martyrs of the Omsk-Siberian diocese of the Russian True Orthodox Church.

Having forcibly ejected from the church the stanitsa ataman and the
parishioners of the RTOC, the MP bandits headed by Fr. Vladimir Gusev in the sight of all trashed the church and took out of it all the utensils, holy vessels, icons, the altar cross, the plaschanitsa, the vestments, the service books, the candles, wine and other property belonging to the True Orthodox parish and personally to its rector, Fr. Victor Babitsyn. Fr. Vladimir said he was doing this at the orders of the MP archbishop Vincent.

Fr Victor characterised this act as vandalism and sacrilege, witnessing to
the atheist, heretical essence of the MP.

This sounds a lot like the old soviet church's tactics. My mother told me an interesting story about how the soviets tried to usurp the Orthodox church in Nice, France around 1947. The members of the church blockaded themselves inside the cathedral for 2 days and prayed until the soviets left.

The others Orthodox are called of schismatics, heretics, you clergy are called of lay mens in cassocks. :shock:

But Metropolitan Kirill call the roman catholic "pope" of His Hollines and think on a council between orthodox and catholics [1]. :shock:

They seems more new uniates than orthodox.
