Is it really possible to generally lump "traditionalists" into one large camp when in reality no traditionalist sect shares communion with the other? How can "traditionalists" be presented as some kind of cohesive group with a common bond? The only thing that unites them is their rejection of various perceived heresies, beyond that they're completely scattered and carry on a rich tradition of further splintering.

Fisrt you should give argument to prove these groups are sects. So it is slander. By the way, which sect is yours : ROCOR-L I suppose. It is true that that kidnapping people is sometimes used in sects that do not respect basic rights. I am happy to notice you no longer feel traditionalist...

I never presented them as a cohesive group but as a group that is in communion by ideas : so it is interseting to make a recount of their faithfuls... My other post was about uniting Traditionalist, so you message saying they are divided is not a new... Thank you for your contribution

Maybe you could make some comments about the so called unity of World Orthodoxy too. Offcially in communion but in reality evryone conspirng against the other...

ROAC or FROC have 450 parishes approximately (some people says that even more), 150 open and 300 in the Catacombs. ROAC is in size the biggest True Russian Orthodox Church. Most of the parishes is in Russia as well as in Ukraine, Bielorussia and Latvia. We don't have official directory due to the persecution against our Church and in the case of our Catacomb parishes, is habit among the Catacombnik to be in the secrecy. Well, although they don't have so much (or rather any) persecution. neither the JP neither the MP have an official directory
