Helen, a woman at our parish, on Tuesday, suffered a stroke and a heart attack. Last I heard she was still in intensive care and half paralyzed. Please offer up your prayers for her, as this is a very hard thing to come back from.

I just got an update:

Helen had been recovering so well from her heart attack and stroke. But this morning she had an embolism, a blood clot, that's severely affecting her health and now the doctors are afraid that she won't last more than a day. Let's pray.

Helen reposed at 5:00am this morning. Please especially keep her in your prayers the next 40 days please.

My heart is heavy at this news, my mother Helen passed 3/27/03 and so indeed I will add her to my prayers.
