Greetings Corpus, I think you have identified a grave threat to the Church. However I think Joanna is not guilty of it. World Orthodoxy has two wings as far as I can see, one based around the EP which teaches a false cosmopolitianism linked very much with Freemasonary and the pan-heresy of Ecumenism. On the other wing you have the National Bholsevik fascists based around the MP who are highly nationalistic and turn Orthodoxy into just another tool for building a "Strong Russia" or a "Greater Serbia". We have heard clearly that the Communist Party even now seeks an Orthodox Russia- is this from love of Christ though?

That said Holy Russia, the Russia of the new martyrs and the Catacomb strugglers does have a special "chooseness", a mission to the world, but along with that election comes immense suffering. Pain both of the body and spirit that I for one would not wish to bare. Love of one's nation is an outgrowth of one's love for family and friends. It is part of the love for neighbour Christ asks of us. If that nation happens as in the case of Russia to have its identity tied up with the Church so much that at times they have been almost identical, is not the Christian virtue of Patriotism made into something even greater?

No where is the battle between Christ and Satan clearer than in the struggle between the Catacombniks and the Soviet Patriarchate, in the war between Russian and the "Post"-Soviet peoples.

By which council have you anathemized the MP and how is it the MP wasn't invited. Seriously, what authority invests individuals with the capacity to declare local churches "illegitimate" and "graceless." Certain would be voices of resistance wish to put ultramontanism in its place...It seems on a donatist basis, whilst your enemies call you "schismatics" and cheer. For once and for all, THE COLD WAR IS OVER.

The Soviet Patriarchate wasnt invited to the councils that condemned it because it was too busy trying to wipe what you would call the rest of the Church and I would simply called the Church off the map. :ohvey:

The repentance of the MP is not regular. They cannot absolve themselves from their sins... without confession before a legitimate pries (i.e Rocor or Catacumb)

Are you privy to the times, frequency, details, and content of other people's sacramental confessions?

Well someone says "Yes forgive me I collaborated with the atheist regime... BUT IT WAS TO SAVE THE CHURCH" I notice this is not confession but self forgiveness which is contradictory with the spirit of true confession...
