Islamic Radicals Plan World Revolution from Temple Mount
09:27 Nov 14, '05 / 12 Cheshvan 5766
By Scott Shiloh

Islamic radicals have been using the Temple Mount as a focal point for planning and preaching the establishment of a world Islamic state with Jerusalem as its capital.

One of the radical groups operating on the Temple Mount is Hizab Altahrir (The Islamic Liberation Party), which espouses an ideology similar to Al Qaeda. Hizab Altahrir’s network spans most Western European countries. The party puts Islamic revolution and an uncompromising form of Jihad (holly war) at the top of its political agenda.

The group advocates subjecting the entire world to Islamic law (Shariya), and destroying non-believing nations and religions.

The party has targeted Europe, specifically Denmark, for spreading its ideology, and providing a springboard for renewing Islamic conquests in Europe. A senior party activist in Jerusalem, Sheikh Issam Amira, expressed this philosophy in a recent speech which he made on the Temple Mount:

“Listeners! The Moslems in Denmark make up three percent [of the population], yet constitute a threat to the future of the Danish kingdom. It’s no surprise that in Bitrab (the ancient name of Medina, a city in Arabia to which Mohammed immigrated) they were fewer than three percent of the general population, but succeeded changing the regime in Bitrab.

“It’s no surprise that our brothers in Denmark have succeeded in bringing Islam to every home in that country. Allah will grant us victory in their land to establish the [Islamic] revolution in Denmark.”

After Denmark, the Sheikh said, the party will carry the revolution to Oslo and change its name to Medina. “They will fight against their Scandinavian neighbors in order to bring the country into the territory of the revolution,” he said. “In the next stage, they will fight a holy jihad to spread Islam to the rest of Europe, until it spreads to the original city of Medina where the two cities will unite under the Islamic flag.”

Sheikh Riyad Salah, head of the Islamic movement in Israel has also been active teaching the tenets of “Islamic revolution.”

“We are at the gates of the Islamic revolution,” he proclaims in his sermons to Arab citizens of Israel. “The global forces of evil will be eliminated from the world and the Islamic nation will remain in place in order to bring about the world Islamic revolution, with its capital, Jerusalem.”

Salah, who until a few months ago was under arrest for allegedly assisting an organization connected to the Hamas terror group, has for a number of years been attempting to organize Israel’s Arab citizens into an “independent Palestinian society,” disconnected from the State of Israel and its institutions.

Salah’s organization contributed to efforts to repair Arab mosques on the Temple Mount, and also attempts to erase the remains of Jewish antiquities on the Mount.

In Israel, the Hizab Altahrir party is sending out charismatic Islamic preachers to spread its ideology to mosques in villages near Jerusalem, Hevron, Kalkilya, and Tulkarem.

When large numbers of Moslems visited mosques last October during the holy month of Ramadan, the party expanded its efforts to recruit new members and activists in the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Thousands of young Arabs living in the PA have been participating in the party’s youth movement under the slogan, “Campaigning to Preach Revolution.”

On the Temple Mount near the Dome of the Rock, Altahrir’s youth recently put up a giant banner declaring “Revolution is a Divine Command.” The party’s flag appears on the right and left hand side of the banner (See top photo). The youth were greeted by party members who shouted, “Next year in Jerusalem, under the rule of the Islamic revolution.”

November 15, 2005

VIENNA -- The head of the Orthodox Church, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, on Monday criticized Turkey's policies toward Christian minorities in the country, especially with regard to property rights.

The spiritual leader of 250 million Orthodox worshipers worldwide made his comments in Vienna where he is taking part in a conference on Islam.

He called on the Turkish government to reopen the Holy Trinity monastery on the island of Chalki, which he said was "illegally" closed during the crisis in Cyprus in 1971.

Shutting the monastery went against Turkey's desire for closer ties with Europe, the patriarch told Austrian public television.

"Reopening the monastery would be in the interests of the Turkish government," he said.

Turkey last month began talks with Brussels on eventual accession to the European Union.

The Greek government and the Orthodox Church recently denounced Turkey for refusing to recognize the "ecumenical" character of the Istanbul-based patriarch and his position in the Orthodox world.

The Turkish position "is contrary to the European criteria and the demands of the European Union in accession negotiations", the Greek foreign ministry said.

On Wednesday Bartholomew I is to address the Islam conference, which will also be attended by the presidents of Iraq and Afghanistan, Jalal Talabani and Hamid Karzai, and the Turkish secretary-general of the Islamic Conference Organization, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

The Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul dates from the Orthodox Greek Byzantine empire, which collapsed in 1453 when the Ottoman Turks conquered the city, then called Constantinople

Dutch MP to make homosexual Islam film

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is also planning a book written for Muslims
A Somali-born Dutch MP who collaborated on the film that led to the murder of director Theo van Gogh has written a sequel, about Islam's attitude to gays.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali received death threats after her work on Submission, a film about Islam's treatment of women.

Van Gogh was shot and stabbed by a Muslim radical, Mohammed Bouyeri, as he cycled through Amsterdam in 2004.

The film will use anonymous actors and carry no credits in an effort to protect those involved in the project.

Ms Ali told Dutch media that she had co-written the script with Van Gogh in the summer of 2004, months before he was killed last November.

"I examine the position of homosexuals in Islam in the film Submission II," she told the De Volkskrant newspaper. ...

Turkmenistan: Orthodox Faith Under Siege

Post by Kollyvas »

http://directionstoorthodoxy.org/mod/ne ... le_id=6287

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, seen here on November 6. The US renewed its blacklist of eight countries considered violators of religious freedoms, turning back requests to add Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, officials said. (AFP) Turkmenistan: Orthodox Faith Under Siege
Followers of Orthodoxy feel increasingly beleaguered as Turkmenbashi seeks to control the church. (IWPR)

By IWPR staff in London (RCA No. 421, 18-Nov-05)

Amangozel, an ethnic Turkmen, converted to Orthodoxy two years ago, but says she stopped going to church after members of the secret police warned a convert friend of hers not to attend services.

“She was given a lecture that real Turkmen have always been true Muslims,” she said. “ They said that for Turkmen to adopt faiths other than Islam could be seen as a sort of betrayal. And they strongly recommended her to abandon Christianity and return to Allah.”

Followers of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turkmenistan, roughly nine per cent of the 4.5 million population, feel increasingly beleaguered. They’re banned from bringing religious literature into the country; the state makes no provision for Orthodox education – even though the faith is an official religion along with Islam; and secret police regularly monitor church services and keep a close eye on parishioners.

Just as he has sought to exercise increasing control over the Islamic authorities in his country in recent years, President Saparmurat Niazov, who likes to be known as Turkmenbashi, or leader of the Turkmen, now appears determined to tighten his grip on Orthodox religious practice.

The head of the church in Turkmenistan, Andrei Sapnuov, is essentially a Turkmen state official, who appears to have done little, if anything, to stem Niazov’s growing restrictions on both the faith and its followers. Turkmenbashi’s policy culminating two years ago in a law on Orthodox practice, which, amongst other things, introduced the religious literature prohibition and permits only priests who are Turkmen citizens with a diploma from a local institution to operate here.

“Even in the Soviet period, when religion was not ‘welcomed’ we did not feel this pressure and infringement of our rights. The new legislation is harsher than the equivalent laws in the Soviet period,” said Ivan, a parishioner at the Nikolsky church in Ashgabat.

With the state providing no Orthodox education, parishes try to run private Sunday Schools, but resources and funds are so limited that there are less than a 100 pupils in the whole country.

“Investment is needed if we are to have more Sunday Schools. Parishes are so poor at present that almost a third of them cannot afford to have their own priest, “ said Anastasia, from the Alexander Nevsky church in the capital.

Niazov’s latest attempt to squeeze the church came in May this year when he offered to transfer the country’s 12 parishes from the Tashkent and Central Asian diocese to the Russian Patriarchate. Some analysts suggested that under such an arrangement, the parishes would become autonomous and could eventually become fully independent, allowing Turkmenbashi to exert yet more influence and control.

“The Turkmen Russian Orthodox Church has long been a ‘puppet church’. The foremost religious figure is a Turkmen state representative, who follows ‘the wise and far-sighted policies’ of the great Turkmenbashi,” said a member of the Russian community in Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen president’s overtures towards Moscow appeared little more than a cynical ploy given his relations with the Russian diocese to date.

Niazov is said to have turned down visas requests from Russian priests wanting to serve in Turkmenistan; church delegations from Moscow and Tashkent are said to have been forced to reduce the numbers of participants; and the head of the Orthodox church in Russia, Patriarch Alexi II, who has made several official trips to Central Asia and the Caucasus, has yet to receive an invitation to visit the country.

Moreover, it’s been reported that neither Muslim nor Orthodox representatives from Turkmenistan took part in the inaugural session of the CIS Inter-Religious Council, despite invitations from the Moscow Patriarchate; and when relics of two Soviet-era martyrs were taken for veneration to a number of former Soviet countries last year and early this year, a visit to Turkmenistan was not even discussed.

Patriarch Alexi declined Niazov’s offer to have Turkmen parishes incorporated into the Russian diocese, but perhaps mindful of the need to ensure that this would not be seen as a snub and exacerbate conditions for co-religionists in the Central Asian state, he opted for a somewhat bizarre diplomatic tack, giving fulsome praise to what he described as the president’s “attention to the needs of Orthodox parishioners in Turkmenistan”.'

Russophobia Again?

Post by Kollyvas »

http://english.pravda.ru/mailbox/22/101 ... chnya.html

Russophobia, again
03/17/2005 09:47
Does biased western press coverage of Russia mask an innate hostility?

While the Russian Federation of President Vladimir Putin continues to show a smile to the international community as it goes about its business, diligently and efficiently looking for bilateral partnerships which bring mutual benefit in a wide range of areas, the western media coverage of Russian events is a mixture of hysteria and insolence.

Let us take as one example, the BBC's coverage of the arrest and elimination of the terrorist Aslan Maskhadov, who was behind a series of horrific events in the Russian Federation, the most infamous being the shocking massacre in Beslan.

The report, presented on today's BBC news website, begins by quoting Russian sources which state that Maskhadov was betrayed due to the payment of a bounty of 10 million USD. Fair enough. Then we have the word "However", marking a contrast.

A contrast it is between the first part of the report and an avalanche of utter nonsense from this supposedly reputable news service. If freedom of the press is about inventing lies and basing a story on conjecture, then it would appear that to impose some standards of quality would improve the prestige of the corporation. These standards are referred to by Washington and London as "controlling the media".

The "However" introduced a statement from a Steven Eke, the BBC's Russian affairs editor, who evidently understands as much about Russia as George Bush's Russia expert, Condoleeza Rice. He is quoted as saying that the "details around the payment of the reward were suspicious.and the official explanation of the events leading to Maskhadov death was not clear".

The official version was that Maskhadov had been cornered in a bunker, had been eliminated in a firefight, the bunker and the building above it then being destroyed due to fears that booby traps had been set, and his body disposed on in an unmarked grave, as usual with these terrorists.

What is so wrong with that? A lot, for the BBC, which quotes unnamed campaigners as stating that the destruction of the property destroyed evidence which might go against the official version of events. What evidence? That Maskhadov was a fairy godmother and spent his time playing with dolls?

The slant given by the BBC to this story is typical of western news sources whose innate hostility against Russia harks back to the Cold War, which they would love to have won, except they didn't, because there was no war. Russia never wanted one anyway.

The Chechen terrorists are called "separatists", Maskhadov is referred to as someone "who advocated negotiations to end the conflict" but then planned and caused the slaughter of hundreds of children (nice man, apparently), and at the end of the piece is even upgraded to the man who was "elected Chechen president in January 1997 but was ousted two years later. He led the Chechen separatists who defeated Russian forces in a 1994-1996 war".

??

I beg your pardon? What war? There was a guerrilla operation and a strategic pullback by Boris Yeltsin after the territory was pacified. Russian forces defeated? Sorry to destroy the fantasy with a bucket of cold water, but where were the Russian forces defeated and by whom?

The Republic of Chechnya is a free Republic which voted massively to remain inside the Russian Federation, its constitution was democratically adopted by its people and its President duly elected. The BBC's claim that Chechen towns "are now inhabited almost exclusively by old people, abandoned by younger men who escaped to the mountains to continue fighting" shows a total lack of knowledge and professionalism. If over 95% of the Chechen nation voted for the Constitution, they were voting against the terrorists. Sorry, but the state of the Republic of Chechnya today is a massive and crushing victory for the policy of patience and determination followed by Vladimir Putin's Moscow.

There is probably a guy in a psychiatric hospital somewhere in London who claims he is the Queen of Sheba and also an astronaut on Tuesday afternoons. Maskhadov's legitimacy was as great as his respect for basic human rights - zero. Unfortunately the BBC, like so many other criminally biased, lying western news sources, would believe the former while turning a blind eye to the more evil traits of the latter, if it gave them a cheap shot at Russia.

muslims Intend To Take Orthodox Symbols Off Russian Eagle

Post by Kollyvas »

Muslims intend to take Orthodox symbols off Russia's State Emblem
12/06/2005 18:02
It is worthy of note that there are up to two million Muslims living in Moscow alone

Orthodox symbols on the Russian National Emblem gave rise to a religious dispute in Russia. The majority of Muslim leaders and scientists say that Russia should remove Orthodox symbols from the Emblem. The central image of the Emblem depicts the Orthodox Saint, Georgy Pobedonosets (Victorious Georgy), slaying a dragon. Crowns with Christian crosses adorn the heads of double eagles. Another cross can be seen on the orb, which one of the birds holds in its claws.

Russia is a secular multi-confessional state. The State Emblem of Russia should therefore reflect the variety of nations living on the territory of the country. According to the results of the latest population census, up to ten percent of Russians practice Islam. Islamic figures have recently urged the Russian government to pay attention to the issue of Orthodox symbolism on the National Emblem, for it could be referred to as a violation of human rights.

"It is not only the matter of the Russian State Emblem. They put up crosses on frontier posts and city entrances, Orthodox icons can be seen hanging on office walls. All these facts, which include sending Christian symbols into space, assigning Christian icons to Russian troops, missile troops in particular, the presence of four large crosses on the Emblem testify to a certain pressure of Christian symbolism in the country," the chairman of the spiritual administration of Russian Muslims, Nafigullah Ashirov said. "Let us build mosques, synagogues, Catholic churches and pagodas everywhere and make it all look absolutely absurd," the clergyman said.

"Muslims raise this subject every now and then. Muslim police officers in Dagestan, for example, may erase Christian crosses off cockades. Christian symbols, which can be found on certain elements of the Russian military uniform, contradict to their beliefs and religion. No one has touched upon this question before, but this problem exists," Ashirov said in an interview with Echo of Moscow radio station.

Ashirov does not think that state symbols should display the signs of a particular religious confession. "The Russian Federation Constitution defines Russia as a secular state. One should therefore avoid any religious symbols in state emblems. Religion is a private matter. One should not promote the Christian religion on the state level," the official said.

"If President Putin says that Russia is a Christian, Muslim and secular state at one and the same time, it should be so in reality. Otherwise, the government needs to change the Constitution and pronounce Russia a Christian state," Ashirov believes.

It is worthy of note that there are up to two million Muslims living in Moscow alone. The total number of those following Islam is estimated at some 20 million in Russia.

The Russian State Emblem displays monarchic symbols of the Russian empire, academician Valeria Porokhova believes (Porokhova translated Quran into Russian). "Modern Russia is a secular state indeed. The presence of Christian symbols can't help hurting Muslims' feelings at this point," the scientist said.

"There are no Orthodox symbols on the State Emblem of Russia. The Orthodox cross has eight ends, although the crosses on the Emblem represent the general cultural value," Russia's chief specialist of heraldry, Georgy Vilinbakhov said. As for Victorious Georgy affecting a dragon, it is an ancient pre-Christian, pagan symbol, which was associated with Christianity historically.

The Russian population counts about 144 million people. There is no official statistics on the percentage of people practicing various religions, although over 50 percent of Russians call themselves Orthodox Christians. The number of Muslims in Russia approximately makes up 14 percent of the entire population. Protestants make the third largest religious group in Russia, although this information does not have an official confirmation. About 600,000 Russians practice Judaism. Buddhism is the traditional religion in Buryatia, Tuva and Kalmykia republics with up to two million followers.

Coptic Statement On Atrocities Perpetrated By muslims

Post by Kollyvas »

http://www.fatherzakaria.net/

In The Name Of The Father, The Son And The Holy Spirit

Statement regarding acts of atrocities that occurred in Alexandria, Egypt

We all watched with great sorrow the acts of atrocities that occurred in Alexandria. We watched with utmost attention and whole sincerity to the Almighty and the nation these acts, as a result of a simple play that nearly uprooted the throne of Islam and almost caused its most admired crescent to fall. Muslims by the groves went out to support the religion of Allah and react to a very simple presentation that was very modest technically.

That presentation was telling the story of a Christian young man who converted to Islam. He was unfortunately and accidentally attracted to fundamentalist extremists faction, who fill the television programming and the streets of beloved Egypt.

We all remember brother “Ali”, who was told not to discuss or argue in movies such as “The Terrorist”, starred by Adel Imam and the “Birds Of The Night”. We remember him in plays, such as “Terrorism” starred by Magda El-Khateeb and lately “Spring Of Life” which was played in 2005 on Hanager theater by Mr. Lenin El-Ramly and “Hoor El-Ein” that was played during the month of Ramadan.

We also saw these terrorists at work on the presidential platform where they assassinated President Sadat in 1981as they judged him to be an apostate infidel and later in 2005 to declare that he was killed as a martyr. We saw them in the temple of “Dair El-Bahary” slaughtering tourists in the name of Allah and His Messenger and recently in the bombing of Sharm El-Sheikh. We see their books on the street curbs every day calling for the duty of “jihad”, the lost duty, and various other forms of terror. They go out of their way to give the impression that Christians are the enemy apostates and their books are not like the originals and they do believe in many gods.

In their campaign, they raise their banner “prepare for them whatever power you can and horse tacks to terrorize the enemy of Allah and your enemy”. They work in the dark to regain the Islamic empire, so we would be forced to submit and pay the “jizya”. That faction operates freely with the knowledge of the government, even it was named the “forbidden faction” that is the “Islamic brotherhood” but the game continues on again and off again in campaigns between the government and the brotherhood.

Believe it or not, that play was played only once two years ago in a brief presentation to offer information against terrorism in Mar Girgis Church of Muharam Beck, Aledxandria. Church priests decided that there was no us in continuing that presentation, and stopped the play at once.

The cooks got together to orchestrate their campaign. They assumed their roles on both fronts, which are the security and the brotherhood facets and decided:

  • Who would produce more than 20,000 copies of the play CD’s

  • Who would distribute them in different governorates such as Alexandria, Cairo, Kafr El-Shikh, El-Sharkia and El-Fyoum.

  • Who would distribute them to the media (such as Al-Meedan and Alosboue), that play the publicity role for Al-Jazira Channel which is the publicity front of Al-Queda terrorist organization. It organizes the leading role to light up the fires of conflicts and encourages flocks of Muslims for vengeance during the month of Ramadan, the month of devotion in the Muslim lands.

  • An organized team sponsored the transportation of demonstrators on Oct 21, 2005.

  • Another team orchestrated gangs and those who are registered as dangerous at the demonstration site.

The question that presents itself today, where was Hayat Channel and father Zakaria, since they are accused today in Egypt as the principal culprits in lighting up a religious strife, the cause of social unrest, threatening the national security and splitting up the two factions of the nation.

Where were we in 1981 at El-Zawya El-Hamra pogrom, where mor than 81 Christin Copts were assassinated headed by Fr. Mximos Girgis?

Where were we on May 12, 1990 when the pogrom of Anba Shenouda Church occurred and many martyrs were headed by Fr. Shenouda Awad, the ordained priest of the church?

Where was El-Hayat Channel during the pogrom of Dayrout on May 4,1992 where a group of Islamic fundamentalists attacked and killed more than 20 martyrs headed by Dr. Barazy El-Nahal and the child Elyshia Samaan?

Where were we during El-Maharak Monastery pogrom on May 11, 1994 when a terrorist belonging to extremist fundamentalist Muslims shot a group of peaceful visitors in front of the monastery’s gate; About six were martyred that were headed by Pastor Benyameen Al-Meharaky, director of the monastery’s theological institute and a monk named Aghabios Al-Meharaky who was 35 years of age and he was the cousin of Anba Sawyres the bishop of the monastery?

Where were we during the pogrom of Kosia where those who refused to pay jizya were slaughtered as they were numbered 40 martyrs headed by the Coptic wealthy business man of Kosia named Samy Yaakoub Michael, physician Safwat Zakher Saleh and the jeweler Sherif Shawky Nageeb?

Where were we during the Ezbat Elbadary pogrom of Feb 25, 1996 where extremists mobbed the town and fired bullets on peaceful citizens and killed seven of them?

Where was Hayat Channel and Father Zakaria during Abu Korkas pogrom in 1997, where parishioners were shot from the back during their prayers at the church?

The ten who were martyred on March 13, 1997 in Bahgoor of Nagaa Hamady?

The 21 who were martyred in Koshe on Jan 1, 2000?

All of that besides forced conversions of minor females and fatawas, or rulings of more Islamic intrusions, that were issued by their elders:

Such as the late Islamic Brotherhood secretary general Mustafa Mashhoor, in his statement as published in Al-Ahram newspaper declaring: Christian Copts should pay jizya as an alternative to joining the army, so Christians would align with the enemy when warring against a Christian country occurs.

Sheikh Abdelhaleem Mahmood writings in his book “Believing In Allah”: “Christians are like a malignant disease, and Muslims should humiliate, mistreat, boycott them and use means of degradation to force them in adopting the religion of Islam.”

Some of Sheikh Omar Abdel-Kafy’s rulings in answering the question: What about saluting Christians? His answer was: Do not salute them, you can only tell them good morning or good evening or how are you foreigners.

Abdel Jawad Yaseen wrote in his book “Introduction to Jahelyat Theology Nowadays” saying: There is no other way but to pay jizya in an Islamic nation whatever its name may be, Christians are not allowed to share in the government and could not be trusted with defense of other jihad, they should be kept in such a state to feel the power of Islam and its glory, generosity, dignity and kindness; in other words in a state to force them to adopt it by the masses.

Sheikh Abu Islam Ahmad Abdallah, the owner of Tanweer Islamic Center, a Saudi financier that specializes in fighting Christianity who wrote many books such as: Become Muslim To Become Untouched, The Church And Homosexuality, Eissa The Messenger Of Islam.

Sheikh Salah Abu Ismael said in his book: A Muslim Indian is closer to Egyptian Muslims than an Egyptian Copt.

National newspapers are always filled with writings of Mohamad Emarah and Zaghlool Elnagar to degrade the Holy Bible. Even Aldastoor newspaper that we value its chief editor, Ibraheem Eisa as a sincere patriot, did not escape the Christian religion degradation trap.

There is the Osbooe newspaper and Mustafa Bakry, where there is not a single issue without degradation of the Christian religion, its church and Christians.

All of these offenders are not charged and the government just looks the other way. They are not treated according to the laws of the land, and in particular article 98 of the criminal law in Egypt that states that the offender with such attacks against heavenly religion by speech, writing or any other means could be subjected to a jail term of no less than six months and no more than five years; or a fine of no less than LE 500.00 and no more than LE 1,000.00, we do not know of anyone that was prosecuted for attacking Christianity.

As if Christianity is not a heavenly religion, as if the bible is not the Christian Holy Bible. That explains that there was no history of any prosecution except for those who degrade Islam, discuss it, or those who leave it for another religion, especially Christianity. As if Islam is the only protected religion in Egypt, forbidden to approach or touch.

The second article of the constitution lays the foundation of the sectarian nation; strengthen polarization before Hayat channel or any other channel. That second article declared the country’s religion is Islam and official language is Arabic and the principal source of the constitution itself as principals of Islamic Law, or Sharia.

Egypt, which was once a Christian country, became a Muslim country at the hands of Amro Ebn El-Asce. The late president Anwar El-Sadat made it as such in modern times and its law must follow Islamic law also.

In addition that same article that encourages religious alienation in a multi-religion country, contradicts another article, which is article 40. That article declares that citizens are all equal before the law, without regard to ethic origin, sex or religion.

But we live these days with this quantitative and qualitative discrimination based on religion. In addition to the emergency law that is imposed nowadays, add to that the clear articles from Koran that existed for some 1400 years, some of which are:

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the last day, those who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger forbids, those who do not adopt the right religion among the people of the book till they give jizya while they are oppressed.” (Tawbah : 29)

“Oh you believers, do not be ruled by Jews and Christians, they rule each other, those who do would become one of them, and Allah do not guide those losers.” (Maedah : 51)

“Religion is Islam according to Allah.” (Aal Omran : 19)

Under the Messenger’s nation and the rulers that followed him, as he told them not to have more than one religion in Arabian Peninsula. Under Omar’s declaration, Jamaat Islamia, which are known as Terrorist Organizations among Islamic Brotherhood, to Salafyeen, Al-Gamaat Al-Islamia, Al-Jihad, Takfeer Wal-Hejrah and Al-Queda; they are all based on Koran and Sonah. Full obedience to Allah and His Messenger to terrorize the others, not accepting the others, declare the others as apostates and slaughtering is the direct result.

All of these facts predates Hayat Channel and Father Zakaria by some 1400 years. What I tried to do was uncover the facts and truth. Without politics or lies, hoping that knowing the truth sets you free.

Last but not least, I declare my full respect to His Holiness, Pope Shenouda The Third, whom I respect as the Patriarch of the church, the engine behind its modernization in recent times. He has nothing to do with my activity with Hayat Channel. Simply my style in handling such matters and discussions do not agree with his protocols, as he always avoids such areas.

I clearly declare here that my reasons for such activities are only mine and has nothing to do with the Egyptian Church. Neither the church nor the Pope have anything to do with my television programs on Hayat Channel. This is only my independent vision and the call of the Lord to have me active in theses areas are not new, I have been jailed and expelled for these activies before.

The Lord is my witness, I do not seek political or material goals, and I consider all things worthless next to Jesus. My only reason is my vision in seeing these millions blinded in following the devil that guides them in the wrong way of life.

Finally, I outline here briefly some positive steps, that I see could end our problems in a non-sectarian country, and not a sectarian one:

A- The Copts demand to abolish the ancient Hamayoni Decree that dates back to the nineteenth century. It is just unbelievable to wait for a presidential decree to build a church, repair a church building or even repair a toilet in a church, while whole mosques are built everyday without any conditions or obstacles. Despite relinquishing that authority to the governors; this power remains bound by the original principals of the Hamayoni Decree.

B- Equality in broadcasting religious programming with different media under government control.

C- The return of the remaining parcels of real estate that belongs to Christian Awqaf, or endowment, the income of such is usually directed to help the poor. These real estates were taken over by the Islamic Awqaf, despite a court judgment to return such lands to its lawful Coptic owners.

D- Terminate the activities that lead to attracting Christian females to extremist males, which facilitates their forced conversion to Islam.

E- Guarantee of freedom of religion for all Egyptians, including free conversions. Christians now are generously welcomed and encouraged to convert to Islam, by all Muslims and government authorities, therefore Muslims should have an equal treatment if and when freely converting to Christianity. What we usually see is torture and incarceration for those who convert to Christianity.

F- The removal of the religion item from national identification cards and applications for employment and any other applications. That could to lessen discrimination against Copts.

G- Revision of school curriculums and ensuring that they do not defame Christians or Christianity. Better yet, to encourage accepting one another and teaching mutual respect. We highly recommend including materials related to principals of human rights in schools.

H- Copts ask the media and authorities to terminate the hate campaign against Christians and insulting them as infidels. These campaigns lead to an atmosphere of frictions and violence against Christians. Media should allow Coptic programming.

I- Terminate discrimination against us in job placements and promotions. It is rare that a Christian would have a vital position or a responsible positions such as ministers and governors to name a few. Currently there are no governor, mayor, dean or a high-ranking police officer in Egypt that is of the Christian religion.

J- Quick end to discrimination among Christian students in government controlled schools. Very few Christians are allowed to join military and police academies. Very few other Christians are allowed to become even assistant professors in colleges such as medicine, pharmacy, engineering and most higher education.

K- Create a way to facilitate their representation in the Egyptian government and parliament. We recommend surveying areas for Coptic candidates. The ongoing strategy of eliminating Copts from political life must be stopped. We think that the ruling National Party has failed by placing only two Copts in the list of candidates for the upcoming elections due in late 2005.

L- Copts demand that their history and literature be taught in schools and colleges where their sons and daughters receive their education.

M- Allowing them to join all public educational institutions that are supported by taxpayers’ money. Examples of those institution are police academy and Al-Azhar University to mention a few. Currently, about 2% at best are accepted in some of these schools such as police and military academies, while none is accepted in Al-Azhar University. This is a very low percentage even in the rare occasions that such percentage is even realized.

I hereby repeat my invitation to Muslim leaders and sheikh with all due respect, to calmly discuss the questions that I presented, since we are seeking clarifications; seeking the truth, and “the truth will set us free”. Peace of the Lord, that is beyond our comprehension, be with all amen.

Coptic TV Show Causes Controversy in Egypt

http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/a ... 007410.php

Unlike many other Middle Eastern Christians, Fr. Zakaria Boutrus is not afraid to speak the truth. From MEMRI, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

The weekly show "Questions About Faith" on the Egyptian based Christian Al-Hayat satellite channel features an Egyptian Coptic priest residing in the United States. Father Zakaria Boutrus, the show, and Al-Hayat TV itself, have come under harsh criticism in the Egyptian press. Boutrus and his show have been accused of attacking Islam; of being supported by the U.S. to sow division and strife; and of "mocking the verses of Allah."

Al-Hayat TV has been accused of being the work of foreign agents collaborating with the U.S., and Pope Shenouda III reportedly announced his opposition to the station's broadcasts, and denied that the station was in any way connected with the Egyptian Church. [1]

One episode which aired on July 4, 2005, discusses anti-Christian verses that, according to Boutrus, should be struck from the Koran. Another episode aired on June 27, 2005, discusses a Hadith, which according to Boutrus, is "reminiscent of Hitler." An episode from June 16, 2005, talks about how Islam is spread by the sword.

Boutrus: "I live in a country (the U.S.) that respects freedom of speech. I exercise my freedom of speech and talk, and no one can deny my free will. Gone are the days of the sharp sword that cut off the tongues of our people and forefathers to prevent them from speaking in the Coptic language. Gone are the days people's heads would be chopped off if they did not convert to Islam."

Interviewer: "What should the Muslims do to make you stop saying these things?"

Boutrus: "My demands involve ten important issues. Let's call it ten demands. The first demand... They are not for my sake, but for the sake of truth, belief, and Jesus. First, striking out all the Koranic verses that deny the divinity of Jesus and the revelation of God in him. Second, acknowledging that Jesus is the spirit and word of God, as they truly believe, without hiding this fact. Third, striking out the Koranic verses and hadiths that incite to kill Christians, like in the Al-Tawba chapter, v.29: 'Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in Judgment Day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His messenger have prohibited, nor do they follow the religion of truth' – that is, Islam. Among whom? 'Among the People of the Book.'

Interviewer: "Who are..."

Boutrus: "The Christians and Jews. 'Until they pay the Jizya poll tax in submission.' This is murder. Number four, striking out the Koranic verses and Hadiths that incite to terrorism and oppression in all their forms."

Muslim spokesmen in America assure us that Muslims don't believe in these things, so actually they should have no trouble striking them out.

Interviewer: "What do you mean by terrorism and oppression?"

Boutrus: "Terrorism – 'Urge the believers to fight,' and the hadith: 'I was commanded to fight people until they say: There is no God but Allah.' All this is terrorism and murder. Number six:Stopping the attack on Jesus and the Holy Book in mosques and in all the media. Number seven: Giving people and Muslims the freedom of... You may ask what do I care about the Muslims? No! They must have the freedom to choose their religion and the freedom to express their belief. Number eight:To abolish the punishment for apostasy, to stop torturing people who convert to Christianity, and to stop imprisoning or even killing them. Number nine:Formal apologies must be made by leaders throughout the Arab world for the murder of Christians in countries invaded by Islam. Number ten: Leaders throughout the Arab world should make formal apologies for the insults directed against our faith throughout Islamic history. The viewers may say: 'Is this priest crazy, or what? These demands could only be made by an insane man... To strike out Koranic verses... Does this make any sense? What is he going on about?' OK, if you cannot change (the Koran), why are you asking us to change our beliefs? Why do you demand that we say what you say, or else - the sword?

"(Al-Halabi) says: ' If the Prophet wanted an available woman...' – in other words, an unmarried woman, a widow, or a single woman – '...he was allowed to enter her...' I don't like to use the word i-n-t-e-r-c-o-u-r-s-e. '...without her guardian and without witnesses...' Without witnesses. '...and against her will.' Against her will. 'If he desired a married woman, her husband had to divorce her for him. And if he desired a servant-girl, her master had to give her to him. He can even marry off the woman to whoever he wants, against her will.'"

Interviewer: "We know that the Prophet is allowed what others are not."

Boutrus: "Why? Is he made of different stuff than the rest of mankind?"

Boutrus: "A hadith by the Prophet Muhammad says: 'Two religions will not exist together in the Arabian Peninsula.'"

Host: "Is this not a type of racism?"

Boutrus: "This is Hitler. This is Hitler, whom we despise. Who destroys entire nations? The (Jewish tribes of) Bani Qureiza and Bani Nadhir, and Najran... It is forbidden. Murdering people because they don't have the same beliefs as you..."

Clip 3 - Coptic Priest Zakaria Boutrus on the Spreading of Islam By the Sword

TO VIEW THIS CLIP: http://memritv.org/search.asp?ACT=S9&P1=718

Boutrus:"Islam, as portrayed in the encyclopedia of Islam, in the Koran and the Hadith, was spread by means of the sword. 'The sword played a major role in spreading Islam in the past, and it is the sword that preserves Islam today. Islam relies upon Jihad in spreading the religion.' This is very clear in the encyclopedia. This appears in section 11, page. 3,245. It says: 'Spreading Islam by means of the sword is a duty incumbent upon all Muslims.' Thus, Islam is spread by means of the sword.

"Another thing is the punishment for apostasy. 'The punishment of killing any Muslim who abandons Islam is one of the most important factors terrifying all Muslim. He does not dare question the truth of Islam, so that his thoughts will not lead him to abandon Islam. In such a case, he would receive the punishment for apostasy: He would lose his life, and his property and wives would permitted for all.'
