Andy Holland Exposed Expose!

Post by AndyHolland »

I eat too much.

I had a nervous breakdown in 1999. Want the details?

I think bad thoughts about my enemies and have try to forgive them from my heart - again, and again, and again, and ----

I even have had an adulterous thought or two - but since I am older now, well.... As Ecclesiastes says, find God in your youth before ...

Honk 40 times if your Orthodox!

We should love even our enemies and those who hate us and spitefully use us.

If Jesus could take being crucified by Romans, and converted the Romans to Christians - we should prepare ourselves to be crucified to the world and never, ever expose others unless we want to be exposed. Be it MP, KGB or Micky-Ds.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Andy Holland

Here's a little story, I don't thing I've posted it before. There is a guy who lives in my city who has some very seriousl physical disabilities. He apprears to have been severely burned. He mainly walks the streets, although I think he has parents who look after him. He used to frequent the university I worked at. One night, on Pascha, he showed up at our church. He went to the break-the-fast meal. I always see him at church on Christmas and Pascha, no other time. He seems to like our priest, who is a very kind man. On Pascha, there was a very frail elderly lady in church. I don't even know if she is still with us, I haven't seen her in quite a while. Anyway, down in the church hall, she approached this guy, and caressed his scarred face with both her hands. Christ truely was in our midst. I always try to think that that image when I get VERY depressed about Orthodox divisions, mud-slinging and total lack of charity.

For me its watching the Ethiopian family`s come to the Russian church around Nativity, and Pasqua and show such respect and piety..although they are not in our church, you cant help but wonder where it was that we started to divide according to human errors, when there children are communed you can see there parents standing in the back with a certain proud feeling, for they know that there children have just accepted valid Mysteries of the Body and blood of Christ ...at that point no one cares, being outside of normal time we are all Children of GOD , but with respect the Ethiopian Adults humble themselves and stand in the back without communion ,so as to not cause scandal or concern to those watching for human error...............CC,
