st. Hermann of Alaska is near where I live. But I tried going there once for liturgy and no one was there :?

A simple "anathema" would have been fine, thank you.....

Try calling the church or sending an email, perhaps they had to change their services....Katya

Try going to another one of their churches, but remember that diseases tend to spread over time, not contain themselves. And the disease we are talking about here started with those bishops, what you see in the churches is just the fruit.

It would seem very unlikely to me that if these people lived a life in Christ with the Grace of His Awesome and Dread Mysteries, something like this would be possible.

And I don't say this in any kind of triumphant way, just that if you want to save yourself maybe these are real life indications of where you are at; you should consider them very seriously (as I am sure you are) and not just hide from them by going to another of their churches.
