ioannis:
Your post was cruel and uncalled for. More than anything though it was unOrthodox, hardly an example for a seeker.

ioannis very good advice for one Gods children....and the reason why he should Traditionalist will only confuse him and harden his heart...I know from personal contacts of the hardness of heart these traditionalist hold, totally in contradiction to Christ , everytime Christ left his desciples or greet them the Word PEACE was used..Peace Be with YOU, My Peace I leave you..........Im sure this young guy is seeking Christ
s Truth not mans worldly words of condemnation heresy

Perhaps you should re-read Justin's post. Both you and Ioannis are wrong in you "assumptions". What Ioannis wrote is patently wrong!!!!
If nothing else it is unOrthodox. If Ioannis found exception to Justin's post then Ioannis should have found another way to express that exception. And the same goes for you.

Forgive me, I misread your post (a little punctuation on your part would have helped). I guess i'm just not used to the way you write.
I re-read your post more slowly and realized that I missed the essence of your post. Forgive me.
I was so angry over Ioannis' post that I answered more quickly than I should have.

John,
Well Justin, we are all "normal" until the rare occasion when we discover that we are not.
Your post reminded me of a funny scene from Star Trek (The Next Generation). Picard tells Data to do something, to which Data replies with something like "That is impossible, sir". Picard retorts somewhat irritatedly "Data, things are only impossible until they're not!" How very true. I agree with you, we often mistakenly believe that our own false perceptions are reality, when many times they are (to a greater or lesser extent) a distortion of reality or truth. So who is right? That's a pointless argument that will lead nowhere. But my final bit of advice was for him to ask your own bishop about what he should do, surely you don't have a problem with such advice? I trust that your two bishops will not lead the fellow astray.
