A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST

I, Milton Kapner received a call at 4 P.M. today October 19, 2005 from Assistant District Attorney Rex Kindall of Chaffee County Colorado, informing me that the County District Attorney's Office will be issuing a Warrant for my Arrest.

Assistant District Attorney Rex Kindall informed me that the County Sheriff's Office will enforce the Warrant for my Arrest sometime between tonite 10/19/05 and next Tuesday evening 10/25/05. He then informed me that a Summons to appear in Chaffee County Court before a Judge will immediately follow.

Reason: Abp. Gregory of Dormition Skete Monastery in Buena Vista CO is in pursuit of his charges against me his former novice for allegedly 'stealing' 2 cassocks and 3 books. I do appreciate all of your prayers.

Dear Orthodox Christians,

As you have probably heard, a warrant for the arrest of Subdeacon Nathanael has been issued at the insistence of "Archbishop" Gregory of Colorado for the supposed theft of two cassocks and three books.

I've been a True Orthodox Christian for thirty years, and while I have seen greater crimes against Orthodoxy, I don't think I have ever seen anything so mean and obviously unChristian. Even if Nathanael has stolen these things - which I don't believe for one moment - this pursuit of him by his former spiritual father is so obviously against the Holy Gospel as to be unbelievable. Does the "archbishop" not know that the apostle strictly forbids going to secular authorities against our fellow Orthodox Christians? And even if an exception might be made in cases where the survival of whole monastic institutions is at stake, such "economia" can obviously not be made here. The Saints and Holy Fathers never ever did any such thing, and "Archbishop" Gregory certainly knows that!

I'm not concerned for Nathanael, who, though suffering, is under God's protection and will win a crown for his patient endurance of injustice. I am concerned that we, as Orthodox Christians, should put up with this in any way. I for one will never have anything to do with Gregory until he withdraws his charges and repents of his crime - because the crime is his, not Nathanel's. And I urge all of you to do the same.

in today`s world we have to be careful,especially those of old age, look what happened to Met.Valentine of ROAC, to involve the authorities is the best way to treat a mishap that could lead to more serious offences...Im not backing up the bishop gregory guy, Im not saying nathaniel is a bad person either..what Im saying is in life one is given a choice by Christ to make decisions based on what is best for us and those around us...............................we dont know the whole story,believe me..the point is being missed again, these two individuals have been called by Christ to serve him and have gotten involved in worldly accusations of man..............time to walk on by

As for the behavior of "Abp." Gregory, his sycophant "Hieromonk" George, and the sketniks, it only goes to vindicate you and condemn them. Their vindictive actions are obviously against God's commandments in the Holy Scriptures, and go against any common
decency. They are bringing shame upon thier own heads. They are hanging themselves with their own rope.

"Abp." Gregory, I challenge you here on this forum: Call Assistant District Attorney Rex Kindall and DROP THE CHARGES IMMEDIATELY!
