USA BEWARE: PUNK-TRUE-ORTHODOXY IS HERE!

Dear Euphrosynos Cafe' Members,

I am about to inform all of you of a very great peril that is about to insinuate itself into the Church. And this peril is about to moor within our own American shores.

Russia's Fr. Gregory Lurye of recent ROAC defrocking news, is a 'punk' enthusiast. 'Punk' ideology is the very essence of who Fr. Gregory Lurye is and what he wishes to invade the Orthodox Church with -namely, his 'punk'-self, and his 'punk'-philosophy.

All of Fr. Lurye's theories like "Name worshiping," and "Christ's Voluntary Death as Suicide," are only smoke and mirrors for his real agenda: To root himself & punk-orthodoxy into the Apostolic succession of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.

Fr. Panteleimon [Htm/Hocna] made his first 'Tour Guide' to Russia this past September 4th to September 25th, 2005. The 'pilgrims' were sent home after 10 days, but Fr. Panteleimon stayed on.

Fr. Panteleimon's 'Pilgrimage' then took on a more clandestine aspect: secret talks with punk-proponent Fr. Gregory Lurye.

Fr. Lurye is now confederate with Fr. Panteleimon and is planning with Fr. Panteleimon to be secretly-ordained to the episcopacy by 2 of Fr.Panteleimon's bishops, [most likely Met. Moses and the ailing and unsuspecting Met. Ephraim] this November 2005 at Fr. Panteleimon's Holy Apostles' Skete in Maine.

For Fr. Panteleimon, a take-over of ROAC in the USA --- with a Fr. Lurye takeover of ROAC in Russia --- would be an "I'm okay, you're okay" arrangement.

Fr. Lurye made it quite clear in his response to Vladimir Moss' "First Open Letter to Gregory Lurye' "[emphasis on "First"], that he will force ROAC Met. Valentine into retirement, and he [Lurye] does not at all recognize his [Lurye's] defrocking.

Oh yeah? We 'recognize' you now, don't we, 'punk-proponent' Fr. Gregory Lurye with your co-conspirator, Fr. Panteleimon of HTM/HOCNA? Your secret plan is all out in the open now isn't it?

And we know, yes we know, that like Arius, Stalin and Sid Vicious, all the enemies of Christ and His Holy Church, shall be confounded and clothed with shame.

Punk rock more along the lines of the Dead Kennedy's and Crass who have political agendas, or maybe more of a Misfits/Samhain horror movie theme ? That would explain his interest in wearing black and talking about being "dead to the world". You know, if it was more of a Bad Brains type punk thing, or even something harder like the Cro-Mags, at least there's something of a spiritual element there. So, is Fr. Gergory more into political-punk, pop-punk, skinhead-punk, straight edge hardcore, DC Discord era hardcore, etc ? If we're going to get to the bottom of his true agenda, this is something important to consider.

Does this mean that your Appeal to HOCNA via Fr. Panteleimon that you posted on September 18th is now null and void?

It sounds like a very challenging time for you. All I can offer you is to keep you in my prayers. Please continue to do the same for me - That God would "lighten my darkness".

My sincere prayer is that the difficulties now taking place in the ROAC are resolved and that the enemy would not make any progress.

things that people will not understand.

I have now openly declared war on the punk-heretic Fr. Gregory Lurye
and those like Fr. Panteleimon of HTM/HOCNA, who will enter into liasonswith the punk-proponent Fr. Gregory Lurye.

or it could T.SO.L. who were very political and have all been sober for over 15 years now,and the lead singer ran against Gov.Schwartznager and lost...or there is the straight Edge group Minor Threat from The D.C. area who are against Sex, Smoking,Drugs,and anything alcohol.....
There are several avenues of punk Rock and franctly its not a commercial thing,its alot of homeless kids who havent anything in life and need a good solid structure, and CHRIST is there answer..the amazing thing is these kids will listen and in L.a. there is a big Punk rock scene who have come into the Antiochian Church, sure its just the antiochian church, but its a miracle considefring how these kids were once living................

I wish to thank Juvenaly, Niphon, and Chrysostomos for their significant contribution to this very serious and alarming issue that this discussion is addressing.

I am getting many OFF LIST e mails, many of which are indignant defenders of Fr. Panteleimon, denying that he has courted Fr Lurye and is planning to have Lurye ordained.

We have many reliable sources both in Russia, Europe and in America, a growing network of information-providers, who are privvy to privileged information, and have first-hand knowledge of both Lurye's and Panteleimon's activities.

Surely HOCNA defenders could not be unaware that many people "in the know" are continually seperating themselves from HOCNA and HTM.

Be assured, that in the year 2000. Fr. Panteleimon was courting "Basil" Lurye, who was known as a Maverick, and someone that Fr. Panteleimon could work with. [Basil was Fr. Gregory Lurye's name before he seperated from his wife and son and became in violation of the Canons, a "monk."

I am sorry that I left you out in thanking those who have made a significant contribution to the alarming issues that this discussion is raising. So I now do indeed thank you for your significant imput.

Your concerns are not at all lost on us: "If we're going to get to the bottom of his [Fr Gregory Lurye] true agenda..."
