I chose "some other style" i.e Georgian way of singing... I do not know many things about its history. It would come from the Pagan period but it is funny in the US you sing the Cherubic hymns in a way that comes from a Georgian hymn. In Georgia it is not the Cherubic hymn but a song dedicated to the Theotokos : "You are the vineyard..." in Georgian "Shen khar venakhi"

At the left of the pocket "the Vine", click on "Shen khar venakhi". You will need real prayer that you can download on the net for no fees
Another version with men's voice.
