Yes, they should be warned, but shouldn't the parish priests and bishops be the ones warning them?
Anyone leaving a parish would naturally let their parish priest know where they were going. He could recommend a parish or he would know whether a parish was walking the Orthodox path or not. It would be wise to seek a blessing and the guidance of one's spiritual father before going someplace else.
And if someone should know if I had experience with the St. Miscellaneous parish of XYZ jurisdiction and I wanted to warn them I could say I had some negative experiences with them and wouldn't feel comfortable recommending the parish because I felt they were not on the right path and that they should seek our pastor's blessing before attaching themselves to that group.
But I certainly wouldn't need to do the internet equivalent of buying a
T-Shirt volunteering my view to everyone who happened to look my way.

It is a shame, that this bishop ordained this known and convicted child molester after he was warned many times by the OC Traditionalist priest.

This bishop places in Harm's way, unsuspecting innocent children, of
a convicted habitual child Predator.

This priest was seen by Montana residents recently acting
suspiciously at a Butte Montana playground and a playground near his
rural Montana Church now under new construction.

This convicted child-molester priest has thus been reported to the
local Sherriff's Office by those who have witnessed him sitting in
his car and luring at little children playing in the two afore-
mentioned Montana schools' playgrounds.

Since then, by God's grace, I can hardly ever say or hear anything negative about someone without it coming to mind. It is one of those sayings of the fathers that acts like a surgeon's scalpel: it hurts even as it cures you.

reads, 'William Kent Ross did unlawfully and knowingly subject [a
little girl] under the age of twelve years. to sexual contact, by
causing the said [little girl] to touch the genitals, a sexual part
of the said William Kent Ross.'"

"Yes Greta," I answered, "I do."

"I have 'Arrest Report #8138-92'dated 11/25/92, from the
Town of Carmel New York, which reads, 'Ross, William Kent; 1050
Route 6, Russian Church, Mahopac, N.Y."

"The 'NARRATIVE' reads, 'Defendant was observed exposing his
penis and buttocks to two children on Anton Drive, to wit sisters,
ages 4 and 6."

"Will you send them to me?" asked Greta of POKROV.

"I will send them now, Express Mail," I answered.

"You know, Greta," I continued, "the prime guilty party in this
whole vile affair, is Abp Gregory, who affirmed a man, vesting him
with the prieshood, a man, of whom he was warned of many times, was
a convicted child molester."

"I only feel for the 'little ones,' who should have been vindicated
not repudiated by Abp Gregory, according to Christ's
Gospel, "Whosoever shall cause one of these little ones to
stumble, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his

Dear brother in Christ Nathaniel,

Since information over the telephone can often be misconstrued or forgotten, I would like to lay out in written form all the information I have of William Savva Ross.

I am the youngest son of Archpriest Konstantin Fedoroff, who was pastor of the Kursk Icon Hermitage in Mahopac, New York from 1984-1997. Mahopac is situated in Putnam County, 1 and a half hours from Manhattan. Records of Ros's crimes can most likely be found on the microfilm of Mahopac Library in the local paper Reporter Dispatch. i have personally used these micro films for much research and they are a valuable source of info.From Grand Central Station in New York City you can take the metro north train to Croton Falls. From there take a short taxi ride to Mahopac Police station, I'm sure they will help you from there.

"Savva " Ross arrived with his wife "Geniveve" at our hermitage no earlier than 1984 and no later than 1987. Savva and Geneviuve were their Orthodox names- Savva's previous name was William as I remember. I do not remember where or by whom they were accepted into our church.At the time of their arrival I was between 14 and 16 years old (having been born in Dec. 1970). By November 1987 they were already firmly established members of our community. Around the same time on our church feastday (SEpt. 21) Savva was ordained a reader by Bishop Hilarion. At the time he read only in English and his style was overly dramatic with exagerragated abrupt pauses so that my friends and I would say that he read like a goat. He was rather short - 5 foot 7 - 8 perhaps, 140 -50 pounds,dark hair, his bright eyes always seemed to have a strange ___expression to him which always made me feeluneasy about him.

He always tried to act very trendy and was always extremely concerned about his physical appearance. it always seemed he was particularily obssessed about his hair. On Easter he arrived to service with his hair in an extravagant perma-wave , all dressed in black- like some punk rock star. At the time of his arrival, my brother and I immediately recognized that there was something not right about him and were very reluctant to accept him.

What I know of him was that he was a preacher in some protestant sect and was offended that he would not immediately be accepted as a priest in the Orthodox Church. His ambition was always to be a clergy.

When the actual offense took place I cannot be sure. I was young at the time and tried to dissassociate myself with the ever on going problems in the hermitage. What I know is that sometime between late1987(after Nov.) and probably 1990 or 91, he was arrested. The accusations- as appeared in the newspaper which are still available- were that on numereous occasions- on a regular basis- he would expose himself to young girls playing in their backyard at a specific house. the parents called the police. after a long chase and struggle he was apprehended.

He tried to return to the Hermitage but my brother and I made such violent protests, that my father had to insist that he leave the premises. The next thing I heard from him was from my friend's brother, Alexei Richard, who while serving a brief term in Putnam County Prison met and recognized Savva Ross there. Shortly after his arrest we learned rumours about his past. It seemed he lived on the west coast as a Protestant preacher- Oregon as far as I remember- and was accused of molesting his own children from a previous marriage. At that time he and his new wife "Genevieve" fled to the east coast where they became orthodox, changing their names, and tried to hide out in my father's hermitage from the authorities
