I personally find these photos way too fanatical. What do you think? (Also, can anyone translate the russian in the first part of the photo?)

God will judge these people...alot of the Saints including St. John Maximovitch and Met. Anthony Krahpivisky viewed these Sergianists as the "fallen in the times of presecution"...my opinion is they themselves we should not judge...but their policies, heresies and lies we should condemn...perhaps someday the Church will decide to judge them personally and if this happens I will follow the Church...but for now I will not judge them personally...
The serious message that the poster attempts to convey is undermined by the immaturity of such a 'nasty' and childish image. Such images belong in the world of 'horror' films and the like.
A Christ-like response would be a more considered and sober affair but no less powerful for that. This smacks of 'negative' worldly politics.
A wanderer, trying to discern truth from falsehood
Perhaps Romiosini is correct, from his perspective I am sure they are. For me they illustrate the reality of what happens when men fall to temptations (all of us) - heresy being a persistant state.
What I find fanatical* are pictures like the one on the cover here.

By all means OOD, the actions are fanatical and I totally agree. Have you ever seen an Icon of the 7 Ecumenical Councils? The heretics are depicted on the floor defrocked from any Hierarchal Vestment. Unlike, in these photos, there is a photo of a Demon behind the 4 patriarchs, and the other one with the Schismatic Sergius with Flames in the background. Who are we to make such depictions with Flams and Demons on them? Do we have 7 Ecumenical Council Icons which depict the deposed heretics with demons on them? Of course not! Then why we, with our pride do something we have no right to do? Lord Have Mercy!
As Patriarch Diodorus of Blessed Memory has said, these actions are sick and are the basis of the desease of Ecumenism, we have no right to portray them with demons nor with flames.
Romiosini,
Speaking of icons, I am sure you've seen the icon of the last judgement where people are being dragged and embraced by the demons and satan - these are sinners of course, perhaps that will be me. One thing the Holy Fathers have consistantly said is that heretics shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. Just more food for thought on the pictures above.
But I agree with you. Even if a person might think to make a picture like in your first post, I would hope they would be smart enough to know the regular person in the ecumenist church is not ready for such thinking. They simply don't understand (and mostly because they don't want to), so this will just give them the perfect excuse to turn away.
