Excuse me, but could someone explain to me what this is all about !!!! The link below is to photos posted on the Ekaterineburg Diocese Website. Do these photos actually show Russian Priest's blessing what I think they are blessing? Why in the world would a Diocese Website publish such pictures and how do two priest get away with this without being suspended.
I realize that during the liturgy we 'pray for all pious queens', but these aren't the pious ones.
We would the translation from the Russian. What was this stuff? A homosexual Pride?

Yes, it is a homosexual Pride parade. But the headline describes the event with words of disapproval: "a gathering of sodomites and other free-love worshippers".
The priests are likely doing some sort of "exorcism" -- exactly the opposite of what was suggested here. Here is the answer posted in another forum:
Actually, it seems the priests are "cleansing" the site of a sodomite gathering. The signs some are holding read: "We cleanse our defiled land". So, it seems these clergy are in vehement protest of the sodomites.
