I have read about out of body experiences, ESP, and some after death experiences. I don’t remember a being of light though I do know that Satan does show himself as a being of light, this I have read in the lives of the Saints and the Holy Scriptures warn us about this aswell.

What is next?

Actually, Benjamin, if you read some book of the Elders "Gerontikons", you will noticed when the book speaks of delusion and how a monk can possibly think he is seeing Christ Himself, but actually is following a demon until he jumps out of the window and kills himself. Something that Saint Venerable Seraphim of Sarov calls, "prelest". (Delusion)

What really amazes me is how the way Father Seraphim writes. I don't know if I am the only one. But the academic level is quite amazing, with the deep theological understanding. Just the first Chapter, the writer attempts to reach out to the reader by really common things known nowadays such as the "being of Light", or "outer-body experiences" or even "the meeting of others" at death. By making a comparison to the Saints and the Fathers of our Church. I personally believe that Father Seraphim has truly prooven himself to be a great writer of the Church
