This will be of interest to people in the Toronto area - this coming weekend there will be a joyful event at the Holy Resurrection (ROCOR) parish (http://www.rezru.org), 213 Winona Drive (at St. Clair West), Toronto. Not only is Bishop Gabriel is coming to serve for the parish feast, but also the Kursk Icon will be at the services. As far as I know, this is the first time the icon has been in Toronto since 1999.
The schedule is:
Saturday, May 28th at 6 pm - Vigil
Sunday, May 29th at 9:30 am - greeting of the Bishop, Divine Liturgy and Moleben
The Holy Resurrection Parish is a smaller ROCOR parish, founded in 1970, and this is only the third time in its history that there will be visit by a Hierarch. The church is quite small so I would suggest you arrive early!
