Angel: ... To do good deeds and to endure grief ar both the duties of a Christian. But suffering, even if it is small, when endured graciously for the sake of God is incomparablely more precious than many good deeds performed without hardships; and it is more useful for men to endure even the slightest grief for the sake of God than to commit gread deeds without grief. ...
Later in this chapter the Angel refers to Job and his sufferings and his glory before his sufferings and his glory after his sufferings. We can also remember what James said about suffering trials and temptations ant the results of them. May we all be gracious in our sufferings.
