First of all,to condemn each others jurisdictions is totally wrong.A man leaving the Lutheran church is only seeking a place to worship with others,for it is within our souls that one will be saved..You think the church,The Bible will save you? come on its a known fact that Jesus
christ before prayer,what we now call the service of the church washed his hands and feet and face because it was necessary to be clean on the outside(for internally he was and always will be pure as snow) a lesson of respect.where is that now,Ill answer it with great sadness that Islam took that piece and have used it for 1500 years now.they preserved the washing of the outside as Christ did before prayer...........
what im saying is we must quit talking about what is wrong and what is right(jurisdictions)it doesnt exist-there is only Truth,and the truth my friends lie in our souls(heart),and repenting and loving all ..
have we forgotten that God made us in his own image,if an innocent person grows up in a certain part of the world that Orthodoxy hasnt strongly made its way to the people,then its not that persons fault.in fact its the Orthodox fault for not doing there Job,Because if Orthodoxy is going to uphold The True Church than it must carry it to all nations,not just Greeks,Russians,Arabs,Etc... when I was growing up in America in the 70s and 80s there were no Orthodox churches in west Texas,I guess we werent worthy to know the Truth,The pope of Rome was there to carry Christ message to us instead.......
guess who the majority of people is that is fighting to make it illegal to perform abortions,assited suicides and the Death Penalty in most states of America? protestants are the majority,followed by catholics...how many old and terminally ill people are all alone right now in hospitals and nursing homes?all alone,we could go and read them a psalm and remind him that Christ died for our sins and will always be by there side For God Is With us!
why are we sitting on our laurels and fighting amongst each other..
this man was only seeking guidance.after walking away from his church,
instead we probally helped the evil one confuse him even more...
Imagine if this man was sent by Christ to see what we would tell him!!!!!
