Part 2 Chapter 6: The Cross Should Be carried in the Image of the Lord Jesus Christ

And so the Angel continued: "Now you have understood the truth. For the Son of God decended from heaven for your salvation, took upon Himself your ills because of love and voluntarily, so that you would learn patience and endure temporary grief without grumbling."

There was no reason for Jesus to suffer, except for our benifit. He suffered to show us the way to suffer, an example and most of all to show us to what extent He would go to in order to save us. How unworthy I am to recieve a gift as that.
