As I come to this chapter I remember other writtings that I have read, I can not remember their soerces(forgive me), that have told us about what those that love money will do to get more. Just as this book has said, I may have read the source of some of the quotes. And we have seen this to be true.

But we have seen to be true what the famous will do. Look at the lives of the movie stars. Look at what they do to stay famous, also the rock stars. These people reflect what the populace wants, this goes as well with the politicians.

Sad lives with no lasting rewards. And we fall into some of these things from time to time, but then we must return to our cross given us by Jesus and continue on the road of salvation.

I don't know how this got here but rather than deleting it I will leave it having added this.

Angel: it is very wrong to consider the cross as being evil. It is a delusion of sensual people and those who love everything worldly, who measure the worth of every object with careless understanding. ... The beginning of the cross with all its sorrows is indeed from God, Who is absolute Goodness and the Initiator of all good things, the source of any blessing. From Him comes no evil; He does harm to no one. ...

We need to consider that God knowing us will give us the cross we need and remember always that God is Good and our cross is from Him and is therefore good, for us.
