Ok, regarding the introduction. There is one thing that is unclear to me. First of all, it states who first published it. But who wrote it? If the original was in Latin, where did it come from?

I hope this isn't a stupid question.

As I understood the intro. it was written in Slavonic and Ukrainian. I guess the Latin was a translation from Slavonic/Ukrainian. Why someone translating to Russian would translate from a Latin translation of the Slavonic/Ukranian, I don't know.
