"Solving key issues" isn't exactly a very revealing statement, and that fact that you have all jumped on this.... <<sigh>>
They will be solving, as in figuring out how to go forward on very complex issues, this with the input of all the parishes of ROCOR, each of which will be sending representatives.
If it is anything like the Nyack conference, each parish delegation will have a chance to speak out, yay or nay.
The article on Interfax is poorly written, and Interfax itself tends to not know what it's talking about while dealing with issues of any faith.
You would think that this day in age, with so much graham-o-la being written on the net, in the news papers, and broadcast on TVs, discerning people like yourselves would exhibit a little more control before jumping on the "SEE!!! SEE!!! I TOLD YOU SO, THEY ARE EEEEEEEVIL..."
Now that this has turned into a rant, I'm going to finish my brownie & and get back to work.

Yeah, a judgmental rant at that. I never jumped all over it. In fact, I thought the "news" report was absolute schlock. Actually, schlock doesn't do justice to what I thought of it when I first saw it, I pretty much thought it was intentionally deceptive and that whoever wrote it were liars. I edited my post about 10 times until I finally decided that the less I said the better. But I suppose since I didn't come out and say from the beginning what I thought of it, and I didn't clarify when Miraculous cross misunderstood me (he thought my "this is too much" referred to Met. Laurus, not the "news" being lies), that I had it coming. Then, silly me, I kept trying to be non-judgmental and give them the benefit of the doubt, asking for another source. Next time I'll just judge from the beginning like you, that way I'll be safe!
<<sigh>> so i should have said "you have all" I should have said "some people have." My bad...
