Dear in Christ, Petros,
Have you considered the possibility that your Godfather may be correct?
What exactly is the situation you wish to enter? Are these people you wish to live with an heterodox "faith-based" community? Who are they?

they are just a none religous group of people helping homeless.
What you are saying is that its right of my godfather to tell the bishop that I reject Faith and I'm leaving the Church while I'm not?
When he says everyone not Orthodox are a sin that is to be avoided that is true also I guess.
Sorry for my post here and I apologise and if there's any chance of a moderator would remove this thread, please do.

Dear in Christ, Petros,
If your Bishop excommunicates you on the basis of what your Godfather says, without talking to you himself to establish the truth, then what you belong to is a cult and not the Orthodox Church, and you would be better off leaving anyway, and seeking to join the Orthodox Church.

Just my personal opinion, but I don't think it's a good idea to base what Church you attend or bishops you are under on speculation about what that group (or bishop) might or might not do in the future. And even from a "worst case scenario" standpoint (as some would consider communion with the MP to be), I think that attending a ROCOR parish would certainly be better than spending years doing a reader service at home.
