You need to speak with your priest and bishop regarding this. There are things that they can do for you. My suggestion is put icons in every room. Evil can not abide where there are sacred things.

Many years ago I was asked to give Bishop Constantine of Boston a ride to someone's house. I was happy to oblige, as I had nothing in particular to do at the time. However, when we arrived he did not allow me or his cell attendant to accompany him into the house. His reason was that the house was possessed. He went in to pray, but I never saw what he did.

Quite. At a minimum, I would hang an electric (because it is in a childs room) vigil lamp and an icon of Christ IN the closet and see what happens.

A long time ago, back in California we lived in an apartment that had a similar "haunting." My sis, 3 years old and given her own bedroom for the first time refused to go to sleep and have screaming fits when left alone in there. She discribed an old withered hag. A few priests came from the cathedral, and did excorsism prayers, (the apartment had already been blessed). The figure never appeared again.
Many years later, a friend of my family's was visiting from California who had lived in that neighborhood for many years before my parents moved in. When my sister described the old woman, this friend said that it was the exact description of an old Russian lady who had owned the house, and who many at the parish suspected of witchcraft.
So there are special prayers to exersise evil spirits, not just from a person, but from a place as well. Ask your priest about it.
