That's the thing with Elders as you have said it--you have to search them out. But when you find them, it is sure worth it.

I have a question, who is the Holy Monastery of Esphigmenou belong to? Which Synod.

Many. Jordanville has brought out so many! Arizona has a famous Athonite, whos' name you most probably know! Elder Ephraim. Also in New York, close to the Jordanville Monastery, the Greek one of Elder Joseph, also an Athonite. There is also, the long suffered Elder, Archimandrite Roman Braga the Romanian. The list doesn't end. Also many Old Calendarists who have good Elders too.

Yes, both for their Synod in Greek and for the American Archdiocese, sometimes known as HOTCA (NOT HOCNA!). They are linked on the Portal page toward the bottom on the right with the other Traditionbal Synods.
