I am sorry if I offend anyone by my views or opinions. I make no apology for those views and hold them as firmly as a cling to the dream of getting the old family estate back into the family.
However given my family connection to the conflict and the personal discrimination I have suffered for my southern heritage, I understand that my passions can cause my words to become less than genteel in expressing my views.

Oh and btw, being a Southern Nationalist has little to do with the War Between the States for most of us. We do not desire our freedom so as to safegaurd the memories of our ancestors, but rather to protect our children and their children from the yankee. In fact I do believe it was you sir who brought up the Second American Revolution in the first place.

I can well understand even though I do study and in fact enjoy the study of the conflict--not surprising since my degree is in history.
But I have not spoken of hte nuances of the war here as this is not, as you said, a history discussion board adn few would be interested anyways. I speak not of the war when I use terms such as southern nationalist but rather of hte struggle of one of the world's largest Fourth World nations and her long hoped for triumph.
