All we wished and wish is to keep our own culture, to raise our children to hold and cherish our values, and to be free to honor and celebrate that culture.
Amazingly no-one denies this right of those who are descended from the northern agressors who invaded our Land and frankly I am surprised that General Sherman himself does not have his own federal holiday. Yet we are persecuted for choosing to practice January 15th (the Birthday of General Robert Edward Lee) and Confederate Memorial Day 5 as days of honoring our fallen ancestors.
perhaps you should recall before you condemn us, that it is those who win the wars that write the history books. Having lived and breathed sweet southern air my whole life until moving to Kansas a few years ago, I can safely say that I will not raise a child in Kansas and quite frankly consider it cruelty to do so--or for that matter in any other norhtern state. The fact that so many of the children up here are so demoralized and hold no values whatsoever is not surprising--look at what their culture (if it can be called that) has taught them.
If nothing else, what has convinced me of the correctness of the South is the way these vile yankee socialists act on a daily basis--even the "religious" ones.
