Whether or not it is a sin I am not qualified to say, but one must wonder just how American it is to vote democrat. I mean by this how much can one vote Democrat and still claim to be loyal to the Contstitution and American Common Law.

Before anyone accuses me of being favoritist towards the GOP, I would say the exact same thing about voting Republican at this point--at least on the national level.

Its ok Tom--Lincoln was just one of those third-party nutters. ;)

Actually its more like voting for the party of Strom Thurmond and Ronald Reagan or against the party of FDR.

Now Joe -- I am a Reagen republican -- but FDR SAVED this country from ruin. The free market was out of control and if it was not for him - America would not have survived. It's true.

FDR was the greatest President this nation has ever had. Even Reagan thought so.

No WWII saved the economy of this country. It had little to do with FDR' and his frankly unconstitutional policies.

I should also point out that it has been pointed out by a friend reading these posts that the GOP has merely come full circle to its original MO--ignoring the constitution at every turn it served their purposes, just like Stinkin Lincoln.

BTW the best president this nation ever had was Jefferson Davis--the personal friend of Pope Pius XIIII and a true gentleman.

err that should be Pius IX.

BTW it should also be pointed out that Jefferson Davis never surrendered to the Godless Blue Horde and to his dying day refused to recognize the legitimacy of yankee government. Those of Colorado Springs should be especially aware of this as this city was his temporary exilic home for a while.

The Economy (Depression) was a symptom of the cancer of greed and indifference that was killing the nation.

also before anyone cries racism, one should be made aware that both Jefferson Davis and Robert Edward Lee were Abolitionists while US Grant was most certainly not.
