The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

I couldn't figure out how to post images, so here are a few links. This was my Wedding this past February. Beautiful blessed day - just wanted to share

Wow Olja, I had no idea you go to Fr. Victor's parish. He's a great guy (though he does look a bit like Sirius Black from the Harry Potter 3)... good photos, BTW.

Hey, I want to add a picture (since the link from the ones I posted way long ago is dead), how do I attach?

If you have it online you can link to it or use Image. I don't think that you can upload it from a hard drive, though.

This was a picture of me before the evil empire that is known as Wal-Mart made me shave and have a "conservative appearance". Bah!

Oh no, you work at WALMART??? Sheesh I work for Fry's Marketplace (part of the Kroger family). It was funny in our training we had this hour long movie about why to NEVER shop at walmart!

Couldn't they let people have a beard for religious reasons?! Surely they'd let a muslim woman wear a head-scarf or a sikh man a turban, so why not an Orthodox Christian a beard?

They let you have a beard, it just has to be a "conservative" one in appearance. Although I was just told that that rule may be more relaxed than I thought it was. So we will see... :)

Near Shovel Pass in Jasper National Park, on a three-day hike last summer.
