Tom, I'll have more life experience then you with in 4 years then you will have in your entire life. Stupid comments like that truley show, who hasn't over come that stage in life yet.

This is a pretty arrogant (and stupid, but that is self-evident) comment for an eighteen year old to make about his elder. Or do you feel big and strong now that you have a gun?

Indeed, youthful arrogance, I wager that 4 years ago or so someone was concerned with other issues other then faith.

May I remind my young friends that St. Basil taught,"They who shed blood in war should abstain from communion for 3 years" P.G.XXXII, 681.

Today the Just War Theory & military service is opposite of the ancient Tradition of the Church, the West gradually accepted the Just War around the 4th century.

Becareful my young friends, and accept the loving rebukes of your elders, and think wisely before engaging others.

Well boot camp is designed to make kids into trained killers its not designed to make Saints.

You don't need boot camp for that. Come to Harlem, you'll see. Just watch out for that bullet Anastasios was talking about...

And by the way, Nectarios do you really want to body-build? I could tell you from experience, it dangerously spiritually hurt me.... :ohvey:

Good point, A number of threads have been going off topic lately, so I split off the off-topic threads and moved it to here: http://www.euphrosynoscafe.com/forum/vi ... php?t=3075
