Friends,
I have no stake in ROAC. I am not a supporter. But I am friends with Fr. Nicholas and I could not bear in good conscience to allow some slanderous lies to be posted about him. So I wrote this up.

Dear Justin,
In response to what was written about Fr. Nikolai, I would like to add the following:
I was there when the conversation between Met. Valentine and Nicholas Stanosheck took place. I,along with others in the room, heard the whole conversation. Bp Gregory later talked to Fr Nikolai, in my presence, asking him what he thought of it. Fr Nikolai responded that he was not worthy and Bp Gregory replied that it would be done. Bp Gregory later said it would be done at the same time as Fr. Fotios' ordination to the priesthood.
Again.......Bp Gregory knew about the ordination. He approved of it and if he says he did not, then it is either he had a conveinient memory loss or is telling a falsehood.
Also, Bp Gregory DID tell Fr Nikolai to move to CO. In fact Fr Nikolai gave up much to come. It is a nice blessing to have Anastasia homeschooled with our family but it was NOT the reason they moved to CO.
In Christ,
Matushka Christina
