I'm going to the Toronto area on vacation in October can anyone recommend a parish with the liturgy in English? My priest didn't seem to know of any.
Thanks

I'm here in Toronto so may be able to help you, but what are you after - one of the SCOBA groups or a more traditional church?

SCOBA group. Are there traditional churches that have the liturgy in English in Toronto? Any traditional churches here in Philadelphia have their liturgy in Slavonic.
Any direction would be appreciated

The OCA has an English-language Julian Calendar mission in Toronto I believe. Check out their website. Or maybe it's in Ottowa. Sorry, I am ignorant of the exact details

Please note that I do not subscribe to "Old Calendar Ecumenism" and believe that only the Synod of Archbishop Kallinikos is the canonical GOC of Greece. I do believe, however, that we can break down barriers and misunderstandings through prayer and discussion on forums such as this one.

The OCA parish in Ottawa (its Cathedral for Canada) is essentially English. Here in Toronto the largest OCA community was heading towards all English when the influx of Russian emigres arrived; it's now mostly Slavonic again!
There is an all-English HOCNA parish here. Of any interest?
However, when do you plan to be here? We Old Calendarist ethnic Orthodox could show you a good time in our great town!
