Please Read This and Pray About This Daily!

Post by Lucian »

There is an individual who is ranging the internet promoting the Anti-Chalcedonian error and attacking the holy Ecumenical Councils (especially Chalcedon) and the Orthodox Fathers of the Church. Wrapping himself falsely in the mantle of St. Cyril of Alexandria, this individual operates more than one web site, a couple of which have the word "Orthodox" in their names.

This person has recently republished an old pseudo-scholarly attack on the Council of Chalcedon by a Monophysite cleric and has offered it for sale at Amazon.com.

If I am correct, the same person has posted "guides" to topics like Chalcedon and Christology (and probably others) at Amazon.com under the moniker "didaskalex." Although I cannot confirm they are one and the same person, I believe that to be the case.

Please pray for this man. Pray that the Lord will lead him to see his error, repent, and take steps to publicly undo the damage he has already done.

Pray also that the Lord will frustrate the efforts of this individual to lead people astray.

This is important.

Yes, it is truly shameful how "they" have distorted St Cyril of Alexandria and then continue to pass these distortions off as their correct interpretation.

Amen.

An unfortunate phrase - later clarified - has become their battle cry.

I hope everyone has added this to their prayers.

Praying about this is a good work.
