When St. John the Chrysostom was uncanonically deposed by Orthodox bishops under influence, many bishops tried to convince St. John to break communion and form a synod. But not being a matter of heresy, St. John refused and said what happened to him was unimportant, and that the unity of the Church was paramount. Bishop Gregory will hopefully be of such admirable character.

Wither way it does not matter -- because according to the Church, ROAC is itself in heresy!

Tom,

That is a grave accusation. What heresy are the preaching?

That they know who has "Grace".

Based upon the above description (i.e., breaking communion and forming a synod) -- ROAC is in Heresy. This is EXACTLY what they have done. Is it not?

Although "heresy" probably is too strong of a word. "Schism" would have been a more correct term.

As I recall, a few months ago, you and others were defending his "track record" and saying that he has always believed the same thing--the synods he left changed.

Ok, I am so confused.

Why is bishop Gregory no longer the Bishop of Colorado? Does anyone know what happened or exactly what were his uncanonical actions?

Sorry but I am confused..... :?

Tom,

Absolutely not. It is not a question of whether or not there is heresy in the MP communion, the enemies of the Christ have heaped to themselves decades of antichristian glory. It is only a question of who is with them, and who is with Christ.

But this is subjective, isn't it? This assumes that you believe that ROAC only has Grace and ROCOR, GOA, OCA, Antiochian, etc., do not.
