What does this mean as Abp. Gregory is presently in Bulgaria? Does this affct the last statement in the weblog where it sates:

His Eminence Abp Gregory of Colorado, has been temporarily removed as Bishop of the Archdiocese of Colorado, placed in retirement and constrained to live in Dormition Skete without the right to serve or perform any sacraments until such a time as the Synod of Bishops renders a decision concerning his jurisdiction and authority.

Also, it seems that the brotherhood at the monastery as well as the parishoners who go there feel as if they are till under Archbishop Gregory and there are also those outside of Colorado who feel they need to submit to the Archbishop.

How does this all pan out?

Let us sincerely pray that Archbishop Gregory remain under
obedience to Metropolitan Valentin and that these issues will
be resolved in due time. Let us pray, that he is not tempted
to leave the ROAC and start another jurisidiction...

With humble bow and many, many prayers,

Rd. Chrysostomos

Also....it was my understanding that the Property in Colorado was /is OWNED by Archbishop Gregory. I think I had read that in his biography.

What happens with that ????

See Tom th is is the issue.

The Synod contains 12 bishops, incl. Abp. Gregory.

They are the ruling body of the Church.

If one bishop defects then you still are under the Synod, eve if it is now only 11 bishops...

So, yes, I will follow my Bishop(s). The Synod of Bishops.

Yes Tom this is true.

Abp. Gregory has asked that if he and Father Dionysi are not of one mind then the property defaults back to Abp. Gregory.

The family will be moving out of the house at the end of July.
