Dear All,
I would be very grateful if you could remember Mitsue (Mi-tsu-e) in your prayers. She is my wife's grandmother who was just diagnosed with stomach cancer and was told that she has only 3 months of life left. My wife and inlaws are devastated because she was more of a mother to all of them than their mother was. She was also the most energetic and healthy 67 year old I have ever met so you can imagine the shock to us all. She is not Orthodox or even Christian of any kind, but a rather devout Buddhist like the rest of my inlaws. However, when my wife was being baptized, she was so kind about it (while others protested) and was most supportive of my wife's choice to be a Christian. I will never forget that as it was so important for us to have someone on our side at that time.
I know that there is not much hope but we pray that God will heal her and grant her many more years with us. Please pray if it is not too much trouble.
