Oh, yeah. That, and everything else that is going on in that pic.
They must be saying the "Our Father"
wow what a cool priest showing up to mass in a leather jacket...
Gosh, I need to revert back to RC'ism...
:thwack:
uhh, just kidding
While this certainly isn't the only problem with Roman Catholicism (or even the most serious), it is quite telling to see that while in the background they have an altar facing east-ward (a sign that this is an older church building), they've opted to stick a Lutheran/Anglican style table into the midst of their sanctuary and use this to celebrate their services west-ward. This tells the whole story of Catholicism over the last fourty some odd years, in a nutshell.
And yet, some "Orthodox" delude themselves into believing there is still a future in "ecumenical relations" (including the anti-canonical activities featured in the photos) with the Latins.
Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one appalled. So many cradle Orthodox and converts seem to brush it off (on other boards I've been to).
I'm a convert from RC (11 years) and it just burns me up when I see these things.
The bishops who do these things are obviously not Orthodox at heart.
