Return to the Skete of the Prophet Elias?

I was wondering, if/when the ROCOR unite with the progeny of Soviet religious endeavors, the MP, will they also be willing to commemorate the EP and return to the Skete of the Prophet Elias on Mt. Athos? Being in communion with the EP, I cannot see any reason they would not commemorate him directly - as a sound and true confessor of the faith.

(people may recall police forcibly removed the ROCOR monks in 1992 having refused to commemorate the EP for many years)
