Even though I understand that the AOA has told their priests quite the opposite in banning this
The Antiochian Archdiocese, does not ban its priest from wearing a Cassock and Rasson, in public, all the antiochian priest I've meat wear the Cassock in public, even our bishop.
Its intresting St. Tikhon, prohibited the wearing of the rasson and cassock when he was in america, he made his priest wear the Roman Collar. Any way most Antiochian Priest dont wear the dog collar any more. All the ones I have met in S. California, wear the cassock except for one that I know.
The one told me that he believes the AOA ect.. have grace is different from the one who said he knew he was not a real priest. Please take a my word with a grain of salt, I was not there I only know what I have heard from 3rd person.
