Save our Orthodox Christians brothers and sister in serbia the trouble.
In Christ
nektarios.
Yes I am posting on threads that are really really really old..lol
Now THAT is a Christian way to think.
20% of Albania is Orthodox Christian.
And it doesn't matter if they are Muslims. Killing them is not what Christ would want.

Please note that I do not subscribe to "Old Calendar Ecumenism" and believe that only the Synod of Archbishop Kallinikos is the canonical GOC of Greece. I do believe, however, that we can break down barriers and misunderstandings through prayer and discussion on forums such as this one.
Is it healthy to divide yourself up into the "military you" and the "Christian you"? Christianity is an all-encompasing religion that demands every fiber of your being be changed.
Jesus said, "love your enemies."

Agreed. But can you really say that you are 100% Christian 100% of the time? Certainly the unChristian side of myself answers for me much more often than the Christian side, much to my dismay. We must struggle against our passions, but they are certainly there, not alowing us to be fully Christian in any real sense. I think that OL should be cut a little slack on this one as it is very hard not to answer in the same way when reading about this stuff. Certainly we should not feel that way about our enemies, but goodness it is difficult not to.
But, at least when we write, we have an opportunity to compose ourselves. Our writing should be communication of a higher standard. I am not judging; I fall short as well.
